The soles are slightly less wide than some other “wide” Clark’s shoes, but the toe box is taller, so they are very comfortable instantly. The material is nice, not at all stiff, but very supportive. The 9 1/2 is true to size. I hope they still feel good after walking awhile. The button is ornamental with elastic underneath, so you have to slip the shoes on.

Clarks always fit! Been wearing them since 1997. Usually last 4-5 years before I wear part of the heel down. Look good on the first and last day I wear them.

Really like this shoe. Fit is great for my wide foot. Like the narrow heal so my foot doesn't slip out. Looks casual but dressy at the same time.

Bought these for a month-long trip where I expected to walk quite a lot. I needed a supportive shoe that would be comfortable and waterproof for rainy days. These performed perfectly! They are a good choice for travelers who need a versatile shoe. They are very roomy. I have a wide foot & many foot problems but these shoes met all my needs & exceeded expectations.

The Clarks Hope Roxanne shoes were a perfect fit and I "loved" them. They looked great and "were" very comfortable. I say these things in the past tense because I got to wear them one time to church and afterwards out to lunch. Came home took them off and guess what? My puppy chewed them to pieces while I took a nap. I almost cried when woke up to find what she had done to my beautiful shoes. Well, I did cry! I will eventually get another pair, however I can't right now. Thanks at least for a good day wearing them. I do recommend them highly and also recommend Zappos because they have a better selection and better prices than other stores.

Only worn in house, felt wonderful

I love these shoes because I can wear them with dress or casual clothes all day and walk long distances. I actually got them to wear on a European river cruise. I wore a pair almost identical 3 years ago on a similar vacation. My feet did great regardless of the all day walking.

Very pleased that the Clark’s sizing remained true after some years since ordering similar shoes.

This is my second pair. I bought them again because these shoes are truly comfortable without being too large or bulky. Perfect for long walks. Recommended.

Too wide for my narrow foot. Heel slips out.

This shoe is comfortable in everyday except it seems to be 1/2 inch too long. Would like to try a 1/2 size smaller but none in stock. Still debating stuffing the toe or sending back.

After wearing it for 2 straight days to work, I have to say I like these shoes. I have a bunion on one foot and it's usually difficult to find comfortable shoes. I do need to cover my bunion though with a bunion patch or hose.
