I am travelling to Buffalo, NY for work this January and realized I would probably need something more than my everyday boots if I don't want to freeze to death or skate all over :) I decided on these after reading the other reviews here, so my hopes are high that they will keep me warm and dry... if I can add to the review I will once I return. As for sizing, I am almost always faithfully an 8.5 med, which is what I purchased. They do fit; however, they are slightly narrow so no thick socks. I believe some people recommended getting a size larger to do that (wear thick sox), but I did not listen. Even so, after trying on and walking around I think these will be just fine with regular sox. If you want to wear thick socks you really should consider going a size up. So off to the SNOW I go, wish me luck! :)

This boot is great for daily wintertime comings and goings. They're high enough and heavy duty enough to stand up to cold and snow, but also cute enough to wear with an outfit. My only quibble: the shafts are pretty tight so I can only wear these boots with leggings. They're also a little tough to get on and off due to the shaft's tightness. The shoe portion themselves have proven to be a tad big, but if I'd gone a half-size down, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to get my foot OR leg down the shafts at all.

I bought mine a half size bigger due to wearing fluffier socks. Haven't had a chance to wear them in the snow, but seems to fit true to size. If you have bigger calves, they are a little tighter at the top, but overall good fit.

I tried these on previously in the size 10's were a tad bit to small. I could have gotten them but then there would have been no room for any type of thick sock. I ordered the 10.5 and they are perfect! I have been looking for winter snow boots that don't make my feet and legs look bulky while also keeping warmth and comfort at the forefront. These boots do just that. They are super sleek and stylish while also providing the needed protection from the weather. I have yet to try them out in heavy snow but so far they have been great!

Returning my size 7.5 to try size 7. I am usually a 7.5, or even 8, but my heel is pulling out with each step. I will try 7 to see if that works because there is plenty of room in the toes with the 7.5.

Size fit well and these are super cute. But there is some sort plastic piece in the upper heel that I could feel when I was walking around with then on after a few minutes. It felt like a blister waiting to happen so I returned them.

While this is an attractive boot that met all the details I looked for while shopping, it does not seem to be as well insulated enough to keep my feet warm in any weather. I expected any version of outdoor Sorel to provide a higher standard. I'm keeping them and hope to be proven wrong on my Alaskan Vacation this winter.

Disappointed in the quality. They're quite thin so I can't imagine they'd be warm if worn over an extended period outdoors. The fit was okay; a bit tight, but would wear in fine. At best these are cute, casual winter shoes. But don't buy them if you want something durable that can be worn in real snow.

PROs: I have had these for just over a month. I wear thick socks in the winter, and am an 8.5 / 39 in shoes. I ordered an 8.5 and the fit was good, and they are pretty cute. CONs: I did not think they did a good job with the cold, as I could feel the cold seeping up through the sole. I walked in them for about 35 minutes a day with my dog (and did not use them otherwise); and after a month a hole opened along the felt seem (see photo). I have since learned that there is no warranty available via Zappos—although they offered me a $20 coupon towards my next order. That still leaves me with a pair of poor quality boots that cost $85. So now maybe I could have 2 pairs of winter boots....? Sounds like clutter. For the first time in years this will give me pause about ordering through Zappos.

This boots are definitely well constructed and very warm BUT, the sole is terribly slippery on sidewalks with snow/ice. Maybe to walk deep into snow they are great because you can put your feet inside a lot of snow but still be warm. However, forget about walking confidently in a Boston sidewalk while is snowing or after while the sidewalk is still frozen and cover in ice and snow. Very disappointing because what is the point of having such great boots if they are gonna make you fall? My regular leather boots are much more adherent than this ones. I am very sad with the purchase but now it is too late to return them.

I am so disappointed in these boots. The reviews were mostly positive and I did order up a half size. But they are so narrow around the ankle I couldn’t imagine wearing these for any duration. I have a regular M width foot so I’m not sure who these fit well on. I am also not a fan of the big white stripe detail that goes around the whole boot. It looked more gray in the photos. These are going back.

Picked these out as a Christmas gift (last year, so no longer under warranty) and these boots are far from warm and waterproof. Being in snow for less than a minute and my feet are wet around the seams and the sole. Wouldn't recommend these boots to anyone that is looking for a boot that is warm and keeps your feet dry!

This is 1.5 sizes larger because I have never been able to fit my foot in one of these Sorels but I like the height of the boot so much. I still was not able to slide my foot into the base of the boot. I don't understand how these things are made and who can wear them.
