Daughter is 15 months and has been walking since 9 months in soft sole mocs. Needed something warmer and waterproof for the fall/winter/spring in the midwest. Also wanted something that wasn't clunky as it makes it difficult to walk and doesn't allow the feet to do what they need to do. These are warm, easy to put on a busy baby, and waterproof. I will spray them more with waterproof spray as we wear them. Sizing- She's a 6-12 month and robeez, 3 in Freshly picked, and I bought a size 6 in these because I wanted to able to last two winters hopefully and to accommodate thicker socks/snowsuits. it gives her about a thumb width plus some. I used the measuring guide on bogs website. It was a toss up between these and the other pull on bogs.
