I am a narrow size 8 skinny foot and legs, no arch. These boots were great for me. I can see why the normal average foot owner might find these too tight and narrow. *However*, I also think that these need a little bit of wear-in time - just around the house - to see if the boots will relax a bit. I should say that I got two pairs of the same boot try on. The first pair were both very roomy in the leg/calf area. So much that I pulled a lot on the elastic ties to get a tight fit. In addition I noticed that the right shoe was a roomy fit while the left boot was much snugger and seemed shorter in length. It had a strange feel that I eventually realized was the insole, which was hiked slightly higher on the left heel. I fixed it, and walked around with both boots. The left started to feel roomier after a few hours of sitting/wearing around the house. The second pair of boots I tried were just as many have said - much tighter in the calf and foot. I kept these, because that’s actually how I preferred them. But it made me think that perhaps the first pair had been worn in/tried on by more people before me, whereas the second pair were newer and less worn in...so snugger. Or, it could be inconsistent construction with Kamik. I don’t know. This is my first pair from this company. They’re fairly warm, though we don’t have negative temps for a true test. They were water resistant in rain, but I’m not about to wade in a river with them - I’ve read that they’re not very water proof / sealed, despite the product descriptions. But, I really like them for what it’s worth.

I was surprised to find a boot that was too snug for my super narrow feet and calves. I ordered a size up, 9, and it was hard to put on, and the foot portion was too short. My toes were cramped, yet my heel kept slipping out, because that part is oversized. I had to return it. It's good quality, but your foot has to fit it perfectly.

These boots are cute, but run small. I tried my regular size (9), but could barely get them on. I then tried the next size up (10), but they were still snug, even with thin socks on. The boot shaft was also snug on me, which worked with leggings, but not with regular jeans. Unfortunately, these boots didn't work for me and will be going back. I did not wear them in cold weather, but they seem like they would be warm.

Exactly what one of the other reviewers said- the inner lining of the boot is not attached to the outer layer so when you slide your foot in, the lining slides with it and bunches under your heel inside the boot. Such a bummer, it seemed great otherwise, good look and feel to it. But totally unwearable.

It was hard to get on these boots and I don’t have thick ankles or calves. That’s why I’m returning them. They were snug around my legs which limits the type of pants I can fit in them. Plus I really had to tug them on. I went with the slightly shorter and lace up version.

These appear to be high-quality and heavy duty snow boots. I believe they would be waterproof and warm. They are thick and heavy, and I found the foot bed to be stiff. There’s also a removable insole that is too mobile and moves around every time I slammed my foot into these. I decided to return them because I found another boot that I liked better. But if you were looking for a relatively inexpensive high-quality snow boot, I would give them a try. They may work for you.

They look great and seem very warm, but the insert and the lining/fur bunch up and shift when you put your foot in, so it becomes a big mashed up mess that's very uncomfortable. Sending them back.

I bought this boot in a store and it fit perfect in size 10. I returned it and ordered it online because it was $20 cheaper. HOWEVER, the size 10 now feels like a size 9. I could not get my foot in it. Doesn't make sense. I wear a 9.5 but like to have some wiggle room in snow boots. My next attempt will be to try an 11.

The inner lining of the boot is not attached to the outer layer of the boot. Putting the boot on, the inner lining slips down and bunches up under the foot. I don't understand how this boot could work for anyone.

Fit was fine. Comfortable. love the color. Little hard to get on the first time.

I wasn’t sure about this boot at first. It’s a little tight when you’re first putting it on but once it’s on, it’s comfortable and very warm. I’m normally a size 7.5 and the size 8 was good.

I liked the look of these boots, but they were uncomfortable. Definitely not a snowboot I would be able to do a lot of walking in.

These are impossible to get on, the boot shaft is so narrow, it's ridiculous. I have narrow feetand thin ankles and calves and couldn't get these on. Returned them.

My feet are always cold and with these, they were finally warm. They're a bit hard to pull on and off, but they stay on and are comfortable to walk in all day. I highly recommend them!

I got these a half-size too large so I could wear thick socks inside. I doubt thick socks will ever be necessary. Wearing these boots feels like my feet are wrapped up in a toasty blanket in front of a roaring fire. So, they are a teeny drop too big on me, and I need to really tighten the laces to keep my feet from slipping. The bungee laces are not hugely effective at their job. that's my only complaint. I bought five Kamik boots to try, and quality varied wildly. These were by far the best. And as for boots this good at this price, they cannot be beat. Anything comparable is $200+. I totally recommend.

Really glad I gave these a chance! I wear a 6 in everything (except Sperry and Ugg, I wear a 5), so I ordered a 6 in these boots. They were super snug the first time I put them on. The liner was also loose and seemed to separate from the boot. I was going to return them but left them on while I scrolled through Zappos looking for a different pair. They started to feel better. Then I walked around the house for a bit and they felt even better! I decided to keep them and now I’m in love! We have an ice rink in our back yard, so I’m out there every day resurfacing it. My feet have never felt cold in these boots, seriously. They also have great traction, which is really important when you’re walking on 4” of ice! I truly couldn’t be happier with these boots and sooo glad I didn’t return them!

These run very small. I had to return the original purchase and order a full size bigger than I would normally buy boots. Nonetheless, these are SO warm and a great price for such a nice pair of winter boots. I have very bad circulation and my feet get numb after just a short time outside in Chicago winters. This is the first pair of boots I've had where I can be outside for more than a few minutes without getting numb toes. They're not too heavy for winter walks and you can even fit a thin pair of shoe inserts inside. Definitely recommend!

The boots were so comfortable I wore them all day the first day I had them! (Not outside) Can hardly wait to see how they wear outside!

Got these for my teen daughter for a fun winter. She has large, wide feet and they fit fine. So quick to pull tight with toggle rather than laces! Pretty blue color. These work well in snow and rain. We’ll also use for snowshoeing with the nice high leg.

My daughter really loves these boots. While it hasn't snowed yet, I expect they'll be as warm as the kid's version of this boot that she had last year. These boots (as well as the kid version) do seem to run quite small--we had to go a full size larger than other shoes that she is wearing.

These boots are fantastic. Very comfortable & of course stylish. The brand is very reputable so I look forward to having these for years to come.

Fit perfect in a size 9 which is what my daughter takes! Very warm and comfortable she says! We live in upstate NY!!! Our winters can be pretty cold! These keep her feet warm while sledding or snowmobiling!!!

They feel small, so I got 2 sizes up. That way I can wear big socks underneath! :) They feel great and are super cute!! Very warm in this winter cold :D

Bought my first pair of these at our local retailer 3 yrs ago and I'm glad I did! I finally wore them out and was excited to see what improvements were made. Less fabric, more rubber on toe was a relief. I was always cleaning my other pair. These boots keep your feet warm(it gets -20+° in Montana!) They are stylish with the fur and the laces do not require tying... just pull up and secure!!
