How did I not discover Levi's High-Rise Shorts sooner?! The fit is PERFECT. I ordered the color "Silver Lake" and it's a perfect dark/deep rinse - not too dark, some fading and strategic tears/shredding for a vintage feel. I ordered a size 24 and the fit and length are just right. For reference, I'm 5'3" and I have a 25" inch waist. I prefer denim shorts that are 100% cotton because they won't stretch to much and they'll retain their shape after washing and wear. These are a little stiff out of the bag, but I can tell they will soften with some wear. I also have the colors "Fault Line," "Athens Mid," and "Wise Up" and the fit (size 24) is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!!

Ordered a size up based on the reviews and probably should have stuck with my regular size as there is a bit of a gap in the back. Took off the tags so I'll be keeping them and hoping they shrink a little in the dryer. Otherwise I really love them. For reference I'm 5 foot 5 and weigh 126 lbs - I usually wear a 26 in denim and ordered a 27.

Super cute and comfortable shorts for summer. Exactly what I was looking for. Levi's runs small, so I sized up one size. Very happy with my purchase.

little wide on waist, but great quality

I am a traditional 28-29 in all brands. This includes Madewell, GAP, Agolde, American Eagle, and even my Levis jeans. However, I decided to order these shorts 2 sizes up so that they would be big on my thighs. I have a very curvy body with my thighs being much larger than my waist. Well, the two sizes up were too small on me. They are great quality and really cute but the sizing is so off. If you are a tall, curvy girl just be aware it may be hard to know the right size to get.

The shorts look nice enough and are good quality denim, but the structured denim does not do it for me. These shorts are stiff overall. The waist is too loose despite the rest of the shorts fitting okay. They aren’t super comfortable when sitting. The other problem area is the front around the zipper. This area simultaneously sags and poofs up when I’m standing which is very unflattering. The space above my butt also doesn’t fit well and the material has this strange pucker to it in that space. These problems disappear if I pull the waist up but eventually things fall down again as you walk around a bit. Will be returning. I had higher hopes since I thought Levi’s would be a good brand to purchase but I’ll be avoiding these going forward.

The shorts are cute, the wash is right, the length is nice and they don't ride up. They fit my legs and butt really well, but I ordered a size up after reading the reviews and I couldn't come close to buttoning them up.

These shorts were snug, with no stretch. My normal size was too small. Going up 1-2 sizes would have been better. They were pretty stiff on arrival and not very comfortable. I returned them so not sure what happens after washing, they may soften up.

The color is exactly what I wanted and the fit from the front looks perfect! As long as you measure from the Levi's size chart you should be good to go. I have about ~29 inch waist and ordered the 28 and still had a little bit of wiggle room around my waist (which I like), but it's not so loose it falls below my hips. The thing I didn't really like is the back of these shorts. Maybe it's because I have a bigger butt? The middle back seam scrunches up and doesn't "fit" around the booty, so it kind of looks like I have no butt haha. I do have to say that these won't ride up my legs, so that is a plus.

I'm shocked how small these run! I generally wear a 29 in Levis jeans, mile high and wedgie, bw and 8-10 usually, thick thighs, and curvy booty with a smaler waist. Couldn't get the 30s over my hips, it's not accurate sizing Levis to be so inconsistent or to have to size up 2-3 sizes. Sent back immediately and not likely to try Levis shorts again.
