I love the look, color, and style of these shorts. Great denim fabric. I just couldn't make these work for me. I'm a pretty true 26, but ordered the next size up based on some reviews that said Levi's run small. These definitely do NOT run small - I could literally pull the 27s off and on while buttoned. I sent them back and got the 26 - better, but still just a bit too large in that they didn't stay up on my waist but sagged below the belly button - not what I want with a high rise. Also, the hems on the 26 were cut awkwardly and exposed a lot of my inner thigh on one leg. Next I tried the 25. They fit just a little too tight for comfort...so, these were not a win for me. But they are great-looking shorts and I'm sure there are plenty of body shapes that these will work for. Thank goodness Zappos has such a painless return policy :-)

Super cute! I had been looking for dark cutoffs in real stores but,decided to order some on Zappos because of their awesome return policy. Luckily the ones I ordered fit great!

This fit perfectly on my waist and hips. It doesn’t ride up my thighs. Looks beautiful in the front, although one side is slightly shorter than the other. In the back, I think it’s sewed very poorly. It looks like I have a diaper bottom which is unacceptable for how much you’re paying for these shorts. I have another pair of Levi’s that look great in the back and fit perfectly so I don’t know why these are sewed so badly? I bought 2 diff sizes just to make sure it wasn’t a mistake but it might be a defect

My favorite Levi’s shorts. These are 100% cotton or close to and don’t stretch much. I brought multiple sizes and the next size up fit best. They were a staple in my closet this summer and went with just about anything. The rips are large and exaggerated. They make a bold statement.

Obsessed with these shorts and the fit. For reference, I’m 5’2, 105 lbs and got a size 24. LOVE these shorts.

I love the 501 shorts. I always size up a couple sized because there is zero stretch and I like my shorts a little loose around my waist.

Great quality. Pretty short but at least nothing is exposed! I love the different shades of denim to choose from!

Super cute. They do stretch I actually ordered 2 of the same colors and 2 of a different color the cuts and rips do vary and they do stretch as you wear them through the thighs but cute! I wear them a lot 24 worked good for my 5’2 120lbs self

these shorts are adorable. I am usually a 26 in Levi's (25 in other brands) particularly for 100% denim. The 26 fit well, and the 27 was a smidge more comfortable as well. It only has a 2.5" inseam which even though I'm only 5-2, I'm also middle aged and that's really short on me. The 26 and 27 both sit slightly lower on me while still being high rise, which edge this closer to a 3" inseam on me. Rigid but soft denim, and the distressing looks great - not too much, and a good light wash. Plus, the price at Zappos cannot be beat.

Cute! I wear a 6/8 and the 29 fit right. Some of the colors can be a little stiff but overall great

These are a weee bit smaller then all my other Levi's shorts. I'm a 26 in all Levi's and I feel a 27 might be big but comfier. I got fault line.

Love these! Perfect "grown up" shorts. Loved this style in the early 90's - and it's still awesome now. Great Levi's quality and fit. I ordered a 26, they fit perfectly. (5'2'/110 pounds.) I will probably order these in another color too. They are fun, stylish, easy "go to" shorts.

Love these, run super true to size.

They look great, but unlike a few of the reviews, they did NOT run large. They ran small, in true Levi’s fashion. I ordered a 29 (I wear a 6/8) and these were entirely too small.

Cute and comfortable shorts. I sized up because I wanted the fit to be looser on me otherwise they seem to be true to size.

these have a overall good fit, but they’re not stretchy at all so if you don’t know what size to get i’d size up!

They run a bit small but once I went up a size they were perfect and super cute

Love these shorts. They stretch/loosen a tiny bit so when I first tried them on I thought they were kinda tight. But after wearing them for a day they relaxed and fit great. Love that the buttons are covered/hidden, and I like that they're slightly longer in the back so they still feel cute and stylish without my butt hanging out :)

These are a must have for summer. The style is amazing and the distressing looks so good. They have absolutely no stretch and I do find that Levi’s is inconsistent with the sizing of their shorts, 501 and other styles. I am between a 26 and a 27. I purchased multiple sizes for fit purposes and the larger size fit best. Zappos has a great return policy.

I really like the style. My 24yr old daughter bought them and they fit her great! I had to copy her and buy them also.. I’m the same size as her but wider hips. They are a little tight in the thigh area making them short on me. I would recommend sizing up if you are wider in the hips.
