Nice fit and trim looking. However, definitely too long for this 5'5" gal. But it can be hemmed. Luckily I have someone who can do a good job for a reasonable price.

Great for skiing, not the warmest pants, but flattering for ski pants

The rise in the crotch seems a bit funny but otherwise a good fit

I bought the pants for skiing.According to reviews I sized up ..but I think that was a mistake.I just ordered smaller size which I think might look better.

I read the reviews on these pants from last season and overwhelmingly every review said to size up. I am a 26 or a 2/4 - which would typically be a size small, so I ordered the medium. They were extremely loose in my midsection. I don't expect ski pants to be tight along the legs, so I didn't feel one way or another about the fit there. Overall, I will say I like the fit of the pants and they definitely are a stylish look. I will exchange for the size small. I am 5'6" and 135 lbs.

Pants came without a button, and the XS was super super small and the medium was way too big.

These ski pants are okay, but I had to return them because of sizing and I got the Freedom snow pant instead. The Freedom pant is far superior with better features.

Beautiful pants but run very small. My daughter is a size 4 and the size small were too tight. Nice material. Will have to exchange.hard to believe she is a size medium.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The fabric and quality of these pants are great and they seem like they would be very comfortable. The lack of pockets is definitely a downfall. Based on other reviews, I sized up from my normal size of Small to Medium (as others said they run small). That was not the case for me and the Medium was much too large, so I had to return. I’m going to look for another brand due to the lack of pockets.

This product is a great ski pant. I have a pair from several years ago and ordered an XL Short. Despite the fact that they advertise these with a 29-30" inseam , the short is 32 " ! Who in their right mind thinks a 32 " inseam is a short? The person at North Face even gave me the wrong information when I ordered it. Very disappointed that North Face won't make this right at the advertised inseam size. So I am returning them and never buying again. By the way, the exact pants I have from several years ago are 29 1/2" so I had every expectation that they would be correct.

I love the fit of these pants. I sized up one size. They move with me great, length is perfect. A little tight fitting over my snowboard boots though, but I was able to stretch them over to make them fit. I ordered white and am having a VERY hard time removing mud from this material!
Also, I must have boarded up against a tree limb and the material has a big scratch mark in it! I was expecting better quality for a first time wear!

Camel toe. But oddly baggy also in the crotch area. I got the tall. Not flattering for me. I thought I'd be okay with the lack of pockets, but seemed impractical.

These are nice looking/feeling pants, but the sizing is not good. I am usually a M in most TNF items, but thr Mediums were much too small, and the larges were much too big. I had to return both sizes. These did not work for me.

Used 3 times in warmer weather resort skiing and loved them. Used on a snowy day skiing and was absolutely SOAKED. I had water dripping down into my ski boots. Currently looking for new snow pants.

My husband got these for me for Christmas this past year and after wearing them once to cross country ski, the fabric at the bottom of both pant legs was wearing away. It looks like the material literally rubbed away and now there is a hole there. The snow pants I had previously (different brand) I had for years and they never frayed. I was excited for this pair because they were more flattering and form fitting than my old ones, but the quality of the material leaves much to be desired.

Love that these pants are stylish, but miss the technology of the old pant. I'd freeze on the mountain in these. If your looking for a cute pant to Apre in, these are the ones!

I have a pair of North Face soft shell pants from a long time ago and needed to replace them with the new version...only thing is that the new version runs small. I am 5'3" and 120 lbs. I bought the small which fit a little snug and that's without a layer underneath. I wear them exclusively for skiing and mid winter gets very cold on the East Coast so I need to have a layer underneath. I am going to try the medium and hope they fit! It's a great ski pant if it fits you.

These pants are just OK. One of the buttons popped off before I could use them. Also, I skied with a base layer in 30 degrees Fahrenheit (not a super cold day) and my legs got cold after an hour. I've never had that with North Face pants before. They are also low rise and are uncomfortable when you bend down. Maybe I just got a bad pair?

The North face does a lot of things right. Quality and warmth are top notch! Sizing....well that's the most important part of women's clothing and they just need to do better!! After returning the snoga pants because they were too bell-bottomy (not a good look on short women, but I'll save that for another review!) Sizing is confusing because the snoga pant was so ridiculously small, so I went with a Large (I'm a 10 short, they are a little roomy). At 5'3 these "short" length pants are about 6 inches too long. They are so long they get caught in my ski boot binding!! And what's with the ONE teeny tiny pocket??? I don't need to carry a quarter for a payphone! I don't need cargo pants either, but C'mon!! I need to carry a few things while skiing. Unfortunately, I can't return them because had to wear them as I didn't have time to order a new pair before a ski trip and the local store doesn't carry anything anymore! I could deal with the pocket or lack there of, but the length is a deal breaker.
