These boots are really cute, and despite there being some definite drawbacks, I kept them because I haven't been able to find anything better in my size. They seem to fit a bit large. They feel great when I first put them on, but as I walk my feet slide down into the toe, which is too narrow and them my toes feel squished. I have a high instep and these fit that, but are very large in the ankles, making the boot flop a bit as I walk. The heel is hard and loud, plus some floppiness = very loud shoes. But they are still cute and stylish. Definitely not the same aggressive arch support that most vionic shoes have (I could do with more arch support, but again, still ok)

The perfect ankle boot! I work in a biochemistry lab, and I'm on my feet all day. I ordered a 6.5W, and these boots fit perfect right out of the box! These shoes seem built to last. However, after wearing these almost every day for a few weeks, they are beginning to show some wear on the heels (indicated with arrows in my picture).

I own 8 pairs of Vionic shoes. This was the first boot I’ve tried. The comfort level is just ok. The arch support is no where near that of the other Vionic shoes I own. It may be because of the slight heel. The leather was pretty stiff and rubbed the top of my ankles. This would probably be fine if you had on thick socks. For the price, I don’t think they are worth it.

I love the style of the Vionic Jolene, but tried several sizes and can't find one to fit right. I most often wear a 7, and I bought a couple sizes to try: The 7 was too tight in the toe box area, the 7 1/2 was too long and way too wide in heel area. I do have a kind of wide foot I believe, although I don't usually wear Wides. But I returned the above two sizes and tried a 7W. That was still kind of tight in toe front area, and way too loose in the heel. Unfortunately, I guess this shoe isn't for me, but it is well made and very stylish. And, as always, Zappos' service is great!

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Although there isn't the usual arch support of Vionic, for some reason they still felt very good. The heal size is perfect...not too high, not too low. Because of this, they fit well with slacks of different lengths. They will be good for everyday, or a dinner out. I have a medium to wide foot, and the medium offered enough room.

Beautiful boot with perfect heel height and very good arch support.? Usually wear size 7 1/2 but exchanged for size 8 and am now finding the boot to be extremely comfortable.

I got the Vionic Serena last year in the greenish-grey color and LOVE LOVE them! I ended up ordering the Jolene in black and I love them too! They are basically the same boot, one is suede, one is leather. I love Vionic and the all day comfort they offer.....and my foot pain is GONE! I can't wait to see what they come up with next!

As others have mentioned, this ankle boot does not have the same arch support as other Vionic shoes. I struggle with Plantar Fasciitis and finding good arch support is a must. I solved this for myself by adding the Powerstep Arch boosters ($7) underneath the insole. This gives me the support I need and makes the shoe even more comfortable. I wore the boot with no show socks and it did not rub around my ankle.

I love Vionic shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and after buying my first pair of Vionic sandals, I’ve replaced all my shoes with Vionic (sneakers, cross trainers, sandals, etc.) Now I’m looking for boots. I really wanted to love these because they are super cute. Unfortunately, I also suffer from corns on my pinky toes so the toe box of these boots are too narrow. They rub against my corns so badly I can’t even walk in them! I wish they made these in W width. I usually wear 7.5 but after reading the reviews for this boot, I bought 8s. They fit well and I feel that the arch support hits the correct spot.

Nice boots but the looseness around the ankles allowed my foot to slide forward and there is a little lip on the sole at the front of the shoe that my toes slipped over with each step forward that was going to drive me crazy, so sadly they have to go back

Just received my order, and these Vionic booties are even more beautiful in person. Quality leather with the outside gold zipper make this bootie stand out from others I have tried...and sent back. The fit is perfect for my foot... Not too wide, not too narrow, and toe bed is just right. Normally wear size 8.5 and that's what I ordered. Would have liked a higher arch, but the description does say " moderate". Usually put in my own orthotic insoles anyway, so no biggie. Love them!!!

I really liked these & really wanted to wear them. I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis, which is why my daughter, then doctor recommended I wear Vionics. My daughter had very similar boots, which she let me wear when we went out. I gave her this new pair & took her old pair. These boots pained my heel terribly! I wish they would put a softer heel under the boot. Why can't/won't they make women's footwear as comfortable as they do for me? Please VIONICS, help those of us suffering out?

I bought a pair of Jolenes last year. I loved them so much I have them in 2 colors! Not only are they pretty--they have good support for my high arches and are watery resistant. A near perfect boot. Plan to wear them all over Prague and Germany in October!

Awesome shows. I could live in these. Comfy, waterproof, and totally hip.

These are super cute and comfortable. I put in Vionics 3/4 length orthodic. The arch support couple with the orthodic is great.

These were amazingly comfortable and didn't need to be broken in at all.

I have fairly wide feet and the 8.5 wide was easily wide enough for me. Super comfortable and cute - goes nicely with jeans or tights and a skirt.

This is my 2nd pair of Vionic boots I have the Jolene in greige and they’re my go to boot. With high arches and a history of plantar fasciitis I can’t wear shoes without arch support for long. These are super comfortable and supportive.

I love this boot so much I have two pairs - the Serena version in grey/beige suede and the Jolene version in black leather. I usually wear a 7.5 but I wanted to be able to wear thick socks, so I got an 8. They are so comfortable, even with the heel, that I can wear them walking around all day without a problem. I can't say that about any other shoe that isn't a flat. Almost all my shoes and slippers are Vionic and I wear a Vionic insole in those that aren't. No more plantar fasciitis since I started wearing Vionic!

The size and fit were good. The leather is soft and molded to the shape of my feet (A plus since I have a bunion). My only complaint is the zipper is on the outside of the boot making it difficult to zip.(I have limited mobility).

I ordered these in my usual 7 1/2, but they were snug. So I exchanged them for an 8, which felt amazing. However after a long day on my feet, my toes felt a little cramped. I’m sure they will break in fine. They really are beautiful in person. I got the black and plan on getting a lot of use out of them.

The fit and size are perfect! I have big feet (size 11) and these are true to size without making my feet look huge (which is a problem I sometimes have with boots). I love the gold zipper accent on these shoes. I managed to walk around Washington DC with these fairly comfortably, however they did tend to rub on the medial side of the ankle, which ended up giving me a blister. I wouldn't suggest these for long walks, but they are super cute otherwise and for a night out on the town!

I really wanted to like these, they are cute and just what I was looking for. They were just a wee bit narrow for my not so narrow feet. I am on my feet constantly, so I just didn't want to take a chance with them being tight, and thankfully Zappos has fantastic customer service, and let me return them. I am forever grateful for that feature.

I ordered wide, but seemed a little more narrow than a lot of wide shoes.

My usual size 8 1/2M was too small and too narrow across the toes. I returned and ordered a half size larger in the wide. The toe fit but the heel was to big.
