Customer Reviews Merrell Chameleon 7 Storm Mid GORE-TEX®

Merrill has been my go-to shoe company for many years but boy did they disappoint me with this shoe. I had read many reviews on the Chameleon 7 Storm Mid GORE-TEX and saw a lot of posts about the lace fasteners popping off but figured I'd postpone my purchase for 6 months while the problem was fixed. I ordered my shoes and opened the box to find the plastic lace fastener (second from top) was ALREADY popped out and when I put on the other shoe another one popped off. WTH? It's just a silly little two pronged plastic piece that they apparently glued in. Given my experience, and my research, I would have to believe that this is a problem with every one of the shoes out there. Merrill needs to fess up on this, pull the shoes and fix this problem. If they don't, they are not the quality company they used to be.

These shoes are so stylish and comfortable right out of the box! I tested how waterproof they are: not a single drop makes it inside! Really impressive!!! I have finally found the perfect waterproof boot that's not made out of animal skin ??

These were a gift for my boyfriend. The eyelets at the top of the boot fell off as soon as he tied the laces . We think it’s probably a design flaw and would happen again if he swapped them out for another pair. We are sending them back. He was disappointed because he really likes them. They were comfortable and exactly what he was looking for.

Stylish and comfortable!

Been wearing Merrell Shoes for 30 years....the Best fitting hiking Boots I've found. Quality materials, great comfort and nice styles. Zappos always provides the greatest service. These Boots were listed as "Sold Out" in my size so, I contacted Zappos to see when they might be re-stocked. I received an e-mail the very next day saying they found 1 pair in their inventory so, I purchased them immediately. I highly recommend Merrell Shoes & Zappos....you will be pleased!

Fit was tight.Toe box is smallish. Had to return.
