I do not have a place to store my laptop so this backpack secures it well and other peripherals as well as so much more will be great for traveling too

Loved everything about it, except color options. Best bag on market for my price range and needs.Large enough to carry work laptop 15inch and surface book laptop comfortably. I looked at this bag and knew it would be popular choice. Wanted to get a bag that stands out. Was at airport on few occasions where i stood behind someone with same bag which is why i would like different color. Only problem i had was zipper. Besides the fact I carried two laptops, the warranty did not cover zippers from what i was told. Bought in US but traveled throughout Middle East. Took it to service center in Jeddah, and was told nothing can be done at all not even a repair. Will try to get serviced in states when ever i get back. Bags here are over priced. Refuse to buy another bag because prices are higher than what they cost online and at home. Tough to order online because i travel sporadically & i like to see and feel what i'm ordering. Great bag though. Price dropped so i might reorder, until then tough it out.

Pocket size and locations are all well thought out. Easy to access all parts of the bag while traveling by plane, train, foot or car. Keeps laptop and tablets safe and allow plenty of room to stuff papers, a light coat and other odd daily items. Wish the oversized headphone pocket was 1/4 the size as it makes for a great quick access location for wallets and phones while traveling through TSA and other checkpoints. Also wish the straps on the backpack were stiff. There is an elastic connection at the top of both straps for comfort. This instead just makes it difficult to pull the backpack in tight to your body for a comfortable fit for when your walking block after block. A chest buckle would also have been a great touch to pull the bag tighter to your body for those quick runs to your next flight and your three terminals away. Bag was a good price and has most the options I was looking for.

Very good back pack and a comfortable hand baggage for flight travel

I use the backpack to travel between work locations on foot (about 1 mile each way). I use to carry a shoulder strap bag (Tumi) which I had for 15 years. Say goodbye to back issues, at least attributable to the strap bag. So far so good!

I bought this backpack to be used for work and travel. It was too big and bulky so I returned it. It is 17" so I do not want to give it a terrible rating but I am 5'3" and it was too long and wide for my frame. It appeared to be well made and I liked the red accent color to make it stand out from all the others.

I've had it for about 1 year, 4 months strap frayed and 7 months torn around to pocket

The product is excellent and very comfortable, but at the end of the first month of use, it broke; so I would not know how to rate it. I hope you understand that being new and broken, I do not know what to think.

This backpack is incredibly spacious and incredibly comfortable. However, I use it on a daily basis and walk 1.5 miles with this backpack. The fabric on the back rubs against the clothing on my back and wears out/ruins the fabric. I don't know what I can do prevent this issue from happening, but do not buy this backpack if you plan on hiking or wearing with clothing that is made with a cotton material.

I really loved the space and multiple pockets. Problem is I haven't even had it for more than 2 years and it already fails on me. And I rarely fully pack it, the moment I do... It broke huge time. Poor selection with the fabric for the straps. Other than that it's still holding up and I'm just awaiting it's total demise.

Doesn't meet my expectations like my other brand bag for traveling, many options are missing it can be good for basic use . A nice bag quality is good not big enough from inside .

We picked this up for our son during his Junior year in high school. At first it seemed great but we had a problem with the laptop zipper and he is a rightie so the left strap deteriorated quickly. We replaced it around Christmas is Senior year but it didn't last through his freshman year at college.

Love the product but the security tag is still on and can't get it off:(

When I was looking for a Backpack style Computer Bag this one had everything I was looking for. It will carry a 17" notebook, has plenty of storage space, easy to get through FAA check, has the strap on the back that will allow it to ride on top of my suitcase at the airport and also looked good and professional. So in the consideration of utility this backpack is a 10. It seriously has everything I need. Yes the small top compartment does hang when something is in it and the top section is open but that is a minor complaint. The issue is quality!! I had this backpack for about 2 months when the seems by the bottom pockets started to come apart. I do not abuse the bag in any way. My use is probably light in the wear and tear consideration. The bag is just built poorly!! Its a great idea but in the end I can not use it because as a business professional I cant carry a bag with rips and tears all over it. I expected better from the Samsonite name and this bag does not deliver quality. I would guess that most of the reviews of this Backpack that are 5 stars are for its features and they have not had it long enough for the rips to start. I have other backpacks from other brands and they are 5-10 years old and still going strong. My Samsonite is about 2 years old and is not usable due to seems being ripped.
