Feels like a warm athletic shoe. Super comfortable and keeps the warmth in. I have Raynaud’s and keeping my feet warm is a constant challenge. So far, these boots have kept my feet warm.

These are nice looking, not too clunky. The whole shoe part was comfortable but I had to return because of one spot that really dug into my ankle. Upon inspection, it is the spot where the waterproof liner is stitched to the rest of the shoe near the top of the laces. It creates a hard bump that became very uncomfortable while walking, even though I was wearing rather thick smartwool socks. I previously purchased a similar style in this brand, and it had the same problem although it hit me in a different spot since it was a shoe rather than a boot. I have skinny, bony feet and ankles, so if you have more padding this might not be an issue. Regarding the insole: I always need more padding and arch support than insoles provided. I called Salomon customer service to ask if the insole was removable on these shoes since it wasn't mentioned in the description. They told me it was. However, it is glued down in the toe area, I'm not sure why. It can be removed with a little effort.

I loved these boots. They are super comfortable, but I had to return them because I have Morton's neuroma so I need a wider shoe. Otherwise I would have kept them. They looked great on, a little dressy and casual.

Very unhappy with these boots, I bought them specifically to be able to walk my dogs in the snow and today was a wet, snowy day and the water definitely came through the boots. Did not expect that at all and how can I return them since I've worn them? This is the first time I ever bought a product through Zappos that I feel was misrepresented.

Comfortable from the first wear. NOT a WIDE shoe, but wide enough for my wider fit. Just what I was looking for in a winter boot- warm, weatherproof, and cozy. Traction is better than many winter shoes. Cute and functional! Would definitely buy again.

These were the perfect boots for my needs. I walk my dog two miles every day. I live in the Midwest so lots of weather to deal with. The sole are non skid and perfect for ice and snow.

Generally the shoes were comfortable but my larger foot was a little cramped at the toe and for the price, the shoes need to fit perfectly. I would have liked a wide but they don't come in wide. If you are looking for a toned down casual, somewhat athletic boot with class, this is a good choice.

These are great. Lightweight and true to size and great support. I wear a M 8.5 and they fit just fine.

This seems to be a great light-duty hiking boot. It feels warm and sturdy but lightweight, and is described as being waterproof. And it looks ok on the foot - not super thick and clunky like many other boots in this category. When I ordered, I didn't realize it's an actual hiking boot. It's not really what I need, so it's going back. But it seems like a great choice for someone who wants warm, lightweight, sturdy and streamlined.

I couldn't get these shoes on. The stitched insert at the top of the shoe was tight with no give. I have a slender foot and ankle and ordered my usual size. Too bad, as the style would have been perfect for casual winter wear. I've been generous with the two star rating.
