Bought these to replace my Salomon SpeedCross 4's in the winter months. Just the right amount of warmth and not at all clumsy around the house. Similar tread as the SpeedCross but not as deep which is better for casual wear. I generally wear a 10.5 but with Salomon I wear 11. A little wider than most mediums but that may be an allowance for thick socks. Only nit is that the top lace crosses high on the tongue but not so high as to slip over it. No biggie tho'. I wear firm heel cups which provide the arch support I need. They look good and have just the right height.

sleek, modern and lighter interpretation of a winter boot. Still very warm. Wide feet and this one fits comfortably feels more like a sneaker than a boot. Waiting for first storm to test it out but so far ticks all the boxes in terms of comfort and style. Newer style for Salomon and predict it's going to be a winner. Look forward to wearing while digging out of your New England Winter.

great looking boot & worn a numbers of times. warm & dry so far so good. i have other salomons & they work. you get what you pay for..

My teenage son really liked the looks of these but they didn’t work for him. First he has a very low volume foot and on the narrow side so many shoes are just too big all around his foot even if the length and width are perfect. His biggest complaint on these shoes is he could feel his foot overhanging the sole (the width of his foot was beyond the edge of the inside edge of the sole) so even with Superfeet insoles he felt like he was pronating.

I really wanted to love these boots! They actually fit my big, wide feet. I did order a size 9.5 when I normally wear a 9 after reading the other reviews. I wore them once on a 40°F day and they kept my feet warm. I did trip on a curb and when I looked down a small chunk was missing from the boot material. I wasn’t expecting steel toe boots or anything super rugged but for the price I would expect higher quality. I would compare the quality to something I would expect if I bought these boots at Kmart or Walmart.

Very comfortable & supportive. Appreciate that they're not a bulky boot & a heavy tread. Warm enough for running errands in the winter in northern Minnesota & my feet don't overheat wearing them inside at work. I would not wear them for long periods of time outdoors in below zero weather.

Had to order a 1/2 size up, but they are great!

I always buy Salamons for my walking & hiking. These I bought for winter warmth. I love them, they keep my feet warm inside and out and fit great like all my others.

I always buy Salamon. I wanted warm comfortable shoes that I could live in, walk in and hike in. Salamon always fills the bill for me.

I read the other reviews and bought a half size bigger for my husband. He loves them, and they fit perfectly!

I was looking for a lightweight, winter boot for my husband. He has wide feet and generally finds winter boots heavy and tends to hate sweating to his feet. These boots looked great and can fit with any general style/ color with his everyday shirts and jeans. It has great grip on the bottom, lightweight, great arch support and the sides are padded so it keeps the ankles from slipping and keeps it warm. Front is a suede like material, waterproof. From my husbands comments, generally men's feet are wide and this one fit him perfectly in his usual size. He said it holds you in the back of the foot, and the shoebed widens to fit the wider parts of his feet. This is a great purchase for winter! and there are holes on the upper side to allow for some air flow.

Awesome style, they take a little to break in, but comfortable.

Nice quality boot. Seemed to have decent insulation & water resistance. My complaint was the fit in the forefoot/ toe box; Entirely too wide. I wanted these to fit but would’ve needed narrow size options. Great shoe if you have the right foot
