I'm on Atom LT vest #2 at this point. My Rat Terrier puppy found the first one delectable, as he was going through his "zipper" phase. Thank God he's moved on to his "remote control" phase. But seriously, I didn't know how important the vest was to me until I found myself without it. Living in Northern CA and working outside during the winter, it's my single most important article of clothing. Paired with the Atom LT jacket, I'm pretty much set for any temp nature throws at me here. UPS took two weeks to get the new vest to me, but no matter. It's here now, and I'm happy again.

You get to the parking lot at a generous 11:05AM, the sun is beating down hard and you know your base layer isn't warm enough once you get in the shade but luckily you've got this little dandy in the backseat of your truck from dressing up for karaoke night at the bar the night before (it was the missus' birthday), you hold it in your hand snickering and decide to snazz up your tattered but trusty wool sweater (entirely covering that big chest tear from when your buddy's dog rocko got too riled up in a game of pull tug) and all of a sudden the downhill traffic at the hill is treating you differently, "hey man that southeast aspect is looking a little wind effected hey?"
You are no longer seen as a washed up ski bum, your a full blown local guide. You arrive at the apres tour (any local brewery at 4:05PM) and someone's bought you a beer and a plate of chips n cheese (addressed to the ski guide in the nice vest) I never chose this vest lifestyle, however I will carry that weight.

I bought this for motorcycle camping in the fall. Packs down small and fits in a saddle bag, making it perfect for late summer, early fall camping.

This is the second one I have bought, and it continues to amaze me in how warm and versatile this product is. I wear it everyday, both outside and inside. It is amazingly comfortably and fits true to size. Very lightweight, but extremely warm when you need it to be. This is the perfect outdoor piece of clothing by itself, or even under another jacket for those cold days in the hill. You will not go wrong ordering this vest.

Bought it for use both as a midlayer garment and as a garment to throw on for short trips outside. It is as good as I could have hoped for.

As a New Hampshire guide, I consider this vest perfect for Spring and Fall seasons. Perfect for hiking, climbing, spring skiing. The fit is athletic but not too tight, and looks casual enough to wear to a bar after an adventure. It packs away tightly in a backpack when the weather warrants storing it. After 40+ days on backpacking and climbing trips, I've experienced no tearing or pilling. My favorite layer.

I find the Atom LT vest to be the perfect layer for those days requiring something more than a t-shirt but not a down vest or fully lined jacket. Even for skiing, as a midlayer, I find Coreloft provides better breathability than down and enough insulation for all but the coldest days. It is certainly my preferred insulation,

I have an obsession with vests and had my eye on the Atom LT vest for quite some time before I pulled the trigger. It was everything I expected and hoped it would be. Fits great, incredibly warm, extremely light, easy to move in... This is one of my favorite pieces and is getting a lot of use, not only when I'm hiking in the mountains or river valley, but also just going about my day to day business running errands.

I love, love, love my vest for running in. It is light, has pockets and is very comfortable. Does a great job of keeping my core warm on cool fall days.

Have been wearing this vest for the past 7 years. It hugs the body like a second skin but never feels tight or binding. Best piece of clothing in my wardrobe. Wear it in fall & spring as an outer layer. In winter constantly wear in as a mid layer. While I'm working it allows me to open my coat to dissipate heat without getting cold.
Would highly recommend it.

I am a teacher and run an outdoor/climbing program, and this piece gets used more than any other I own. It is sleeker than down, warm enough for chilly weather but not too warm like down vests sometimes can be, and is really light and stowable for a bit of extra layering outside. I found it perfect for stopping the wind on chillier ski touring days and on ice climbs. Some pilling occurs on the inside stitching with use, but it isn't noticeable from the outside at all.

I'm a huge fan of vests in all weights and thicknesses and the LT atom vest is the perfect lightweight piece for shoulder season standalone and for winter layering. I run pretty hot so having a vest in my pack or at work is the best option for just the right amount of insulation without overheating. I use this piece cycling, walking and hiking and just for everyday. The fit is standard to all my other Arc pieces, not too trim but not super loose. Having the 2 hand pockets and 1 internal pocket are great for holing my phone or keys. I appreciate the tall collar as well when its cool out or windy but it lays flat and out of the way when unzipped.

I bought this vest a few years ago and I absolutely love it! It's lightweight and stretchy on the sides, breathable material and keeps me dry. Since I wear it for rowing in cool and damp weather, I wish it was available in bright colours for good visibility on the water!

I have had this vest several years, and I can't say enough about it. Durability is impt to me in many ways, and this has stood the test of time and many miles. It has literally been 1000's of miles with me, in & out of my pack, worn in the brush, deserts, mountains, stand alone item, and layered item. I've worn it in town over a flannel to a nice dinner, and I've sweated in it on warm, windy hikes summiting. It might be time for a new color. I'm 5'4, 118 lbs, small bust. Small is perfect.

I bought this vest in a medium, it is a tad loose, but i like the fit and i can layer underneath. It's very thin but really warm and has a convenient inside pockets in addition to the regular pockets outside. I love this vest line, have already owned one before. Very comfortable. Absolutely love the muse color.

I use the vest when temperatures drop as a middlayer from sport to alpine climbing. Pro: I still have a maximum of movement in my arms compared to a jacket

I bought this for my husband a week ago and he is already wearing it on and around Texas. He has a long torso and the length was very flattering. I got the orange snd was pleased with the color. Very lightweight and easy to layer.

Got this for work in the early fall as an outer layer, now that it's colder it's perfect as the final under layer. Very happy with the latest addition to my Arcteryx gear.

Warm vest, comfortable fitting. Not too tight or lose. Fits under my jacket on cold days or over my shirt on fall hikes. I've worn it to Banff for hiking this year and it was perfect.
