These boots are awesome. I'm really glad I got a half size up as they fit perfectly (thanks reviews!). I think they look and feel fresh and definitely keep your toes much warmer than other Vans shoes. The only drawback I can think of is the length of the laces. A touch too long, but if THAT'S the only issue, then you can consider these boots to be definitely worth the money.

These are excellent “boots” without being a boot. However, they are very narrow and makes them feel smaller than they are. Go with a half size larger and you should be okay. Lastly, the soles say “Vans Ultra Cush” but they really are not. They are a super thin, not-very-cushy rip off. I pulled the real Ultra Cush soles out of another pair of Vans I have and now these are perfectly comfortable.

Bought for my 15 year old Grandson. He loves them (Grapeleaf color), but they were a little tight around toes. If I order again, I will order next size up.

The fit and size are as described and expected.

Amazing looking boots/shoes

These sneakers aren’t just cool looking!!! They fit perfectly and did not hurt my feet one bit!! LOVE LOVE LOVE these Vans!!!

These are great and exactly what I wanted. Very stylish and comfortable. BUT get a 1/2 size larger than usual, as they run small.

Before I ordered I read through some reviews and noticed a lot of people recommending ordering a size larger. I ordered a half size larger and am so glad I did! These feel great and are similar to a nice hiking boot. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the insoles are. I will say though, the arch support is moderate but nothing a good gel insole won’t fix. I love these boots and highly recommend them!

They run a little bit tight, but this is the first pair of Van's I've ever worn. Now I know how to order in the future.

great looking shoe - i've got multiple pairs of the vans ultrarange mte hi top as well as the ultrarange rapidweld shoes. these are very solid, heavier than the ultrarange hi tops, and feel more like boots than sneakers (should be the reference for the definition of a 'sneakerboot'). i wear 10.5 in the mte hi-tops, and 11 in the rapidwelds - assuming these fit the same as the mte hi-tops, i also went with size 10.5. while the length of the shoe was spot on, they ended up feeling really narrow, and extremely tight in the toebox area. so much so that i've ordered a full size larger, as i plan to thicker socks with these (these are supposedly winter ready, but we'll see). hopefully that'll do the trick - wish vans would come out with wide sizes!

Awesome Vans!

Some things... 1) The zipper on the tongue is completely useless and only adds to the bulk. 2) Full size smaller: I'm an 8.5/9 in women's and ended up (finally) with the 9.5 size. 3) Very bulky looking in my size. 4) Love the color green and the height, soft cushioning throughout and some actual arch support for a Vans, which I never buy as they're like walking on a board 4) These had to go back when I nearly tripped badly when hook/eyelet on left shoe hooked onto the tied laces on the right shoe -- good luck wearing these in icy weather! :(

The materials and workmanship are decent but the fit is way off compared to other Vans I've worn, probably because of the extra insulation. I ordered a half size up (as other reviews suggested) but even with my thinnest socks they're still too narrow to wear comfortably. They're also about 1/4" too long (to be expected, as they're a half size larger than I'd normally wear). They look good and I bet they'd be comfortable and reasonably warm if they fit my feet properly. It was a huge disappointment to find that the zipper is merely decorative. The pictures made it seem like it might be functional (attached behind the eyelets so the shoe could be zipped rather than laced). Well, it's not. It's attached to the tongue. A waste of a perfectly good water resistant zipper. Even if they did fit properly I'd probably still be returning these shoes because of this.
