I ordered a size 8.5 and the fir was almost perfect. A size 9 would have been too large. My feet are about 1/4 different in size so what fits perfectly on the left foot may be a tiny bit small for the right bit. But I'm sued to the compromise and glad I ordered the 8.5. The shoes are very well made and I would certainly order them again.

Grabbed a pair of these for a 3 week international trip as my one pair of all purpose footwear. Unfortunately, 2 weeks in and one of the lace buckles snapped off making them unwearable. Prior to the issue, the boots were pretty solid although I'd prefer more than two places for the laces to anchor on the shoe (left the boots feeling a bit loose).

Hands down...worst footwear I've ever suffered. If the box they came in were a bit smaller, it would be more comfortable to wear. No arch support, so I immediately had to add some aftermarket footbeds. And the weight...holy cow these things feel as heavy as ski boots! The heel is loose and boxy, so it slides up and down with each step unless you really tighten the laces. But then the top of your foot starts aching from the overly tight laces pinching through the unpadded tongue. I didn't buy these through Zappos unfortunately, so easy returns were out. Just hoping to save someone else the torture. I don't even want to wear them anymore...they just sit in my closet.
