Stylish and comfortable!

Throwback to 1992 Vans chukkas, reinforced with Frye quality. Love these shoes. I bought the grey charcoal wool ones. They get super hot. Might be good or bad, depending on the weather.

For me, a perfect fit. I wear size 11 and these are like a 11.2. A bit more room for my toes, which I like. I have a moderately wide foot, but the fit is spot on. I could see someone with wide foot having issues as the shoe doesn't really stretch at the widest part due the stitching on the sides. Good for stability on your board. As for comfort, the heal has a bit of padding, but not much. I can see these being a good everyday shoe or solely for skateboarding - or both! I normally put thin memory foam inserts into most of my shoes, so with them in they feel very comfortable. The style and craftsmanship is excellent and the material is top notch.

The sizing was quite a bit bit for me. I usually wear a size 13 but these felt like 14 with the length. Width the shoes were comfortable. As far as support I don’t think these shoes were very good. With Zappos great return policy I am in the process of sending them back now. The shoes look great but weren’t really what I was looking for. I thought they looked like skate shoes but they didn’t have very good grip and they just didn’t fit right. As far as looks though I was pretty pleased.
