These are beautiful boots, but I can't wear them. They are much too narrow for me. I have problematic bunions that add insult to injury with my already wide feet. I had to send them back--sigh.

Just a heads up. Normally when reviews say order size up I dont. I am a 9 and I ordered a 9 but sadly returned them in exchange for 9 1/2 which are great.

These are an absolutely beautiful shoe/boot. Lucious leather inside and out, true to size and the width is actually generous for Frye, definitely more a B/C than a B. I am returning this item because the light color is much lighter than I anticipated - photo shoot lighting vs. average computer monitor issue no doubt. Put myself on the notification list for the metallic leather and will probably go for the cognac color in the future.

Oh how I love these and would order another pair, but they are a bit tight in the instep for me. They are so adorable and the leather is beautiful, very soft. If they make these in a wide, I will buy them in every color. I know they won't so I will only have one pair and only wear them when I am not walking too much. They couldn't be more adorable.

Very nice Fyre quality. Too bad the style didn’t quite work for my needs. Although, I would have appreciated more arch support. Too expensive to keep when they aren’t fitting my needs/wants at this moment.

Love these. Returned the Carson for this one. Love the look for work or casual. Have been searching for a pair of black staple booties and I think these are it! I have narrow feet and they feel a little snug w thin socks so just consider that if your feet are a little wider.

These fit like a glove right out of the box - I wore them all day the first day with no socks, there was no rubbing or even the slightest bit of discomfort. Wearing socks might make them a bit snug at first, but the leather is incredibly soft and I'm sure will stretch a bit with age & repeating wearing.

I love these boots. The leather is so soft and the perfect shade of camel. They fit perfectly true-to-size for me. I read some reviews that they are narrow so I was worried because my feet aren't wide but they don't fit in narrow shoes. These don't feel narrow to me at all. They just fit like a glove.

She is pretty true to size. Not for you if you have a wide foot. Quality of leather is very soft. Only thing I would change is the bottom sole as it's a little slick.

I absolutely love these booties--sorry, shooties! The leather is glove soft, and they almost immediately start getting these great wear creases across the top. I do think they run large, as in long: they're pretty narrow overall, which works for my foot, but I had to order a 9.5 instead of my usual 10. I know it's never a great idea to buy tight shoes, but these really do stretch like crazy and mold to your foot, something I noticed even just walking around my house in them. I can wear a thin sock with them, but I prefer to go sockless and the leather lining is soft enough for that. The cognac color is awesome, and will go with everything. Note that the sole doesn't offer much traction at all.

I generally find that I am a size 7 or 7.5. Because I thought the way your foot slides in could be a bit tight, I went with the 7.5 but I had to return them for the 7, which fits great. These are a nice alternative when you want a substantial shoe (winter) but not a boot. They are stylish and the leather is high quality, as is the reputation of Frye shoes/boots. Very comfortable and for me, because my forefoot is a little wider, I feel like thin socks work best.

The sizing is a bit off, I am usually a 7.5 and it felt very narrow. I loved the shoe so I ordered the 8 which was a better fit around the toes but feels loose.

Looked super cute but felt butter smooth but sadly had to return because they run a bit small.

This is one of those times that fashion won out over comfort. They aren't horrible as far as comfort is concerned unless my neuroma is bothering me. I have wide feet and they are soft enough so that hasn't been a problem, but I can't wear them when my on-again, off-again neuroma problem is bothering me. HOWEVER, they are just adorable. I feel so fashionable in them without feeling like a biker chick which some Frey's make me look. These are really classic. Now if they would just add a bit of comfort to them without affecting the style. I also would like a classic brown. I would buy these in the tan but you are out of that color.

beautiful shoe, gorgeous leather, but just too tight in the toe box. Wide enough, but too shallow, so it pressed on the top of my toes.

Had to return these; I am a size 10 normal width, and they felt like a 9. Also, the color is a shimmery gold, not silvery.

I'm sad I have return these boots. The color and leather are lovely, and the style and quality are great. However the toe cap is very stiff and shallow, which doesn't fit the shape of my toes.

I add a gel half insert and can wear all day. Very stylish and comfy.

Beautiful quality leather, comfortable right out of the box. I'm size 6 in these. I bought the black and cognac. Classy and stylish, they do look like awesome boots, but they are shoo-ties. I love them.

Perfect booties! I have been searching for a flat leather bootie and I’ve finally found them. I love the classic look, they are great for everyday. They are very comfortable, I ordered size 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. They did not need broken in, by the end of the first time wearing them, they felt very good on my feet. The leather is soft and looks worn in almost immediately. The only issue I have, is I need to find a thin no show sock, that stays on my ankle and doesn’t slide down.

I've always wanted some Frye boots, and these are perfect! I love the fit, they are so comfortable, and can be dressed up or down. The leather is high quality, and shiney. Love these shooties!

The Elyssa shootie is fabulous, from cognac color to the style to the fit. I am only sending them back because I also ordered Frye Carson shootie and it fit me better. The Elyssa sole is flat and the Carson has a slightly elevated stacked heel which works better for my foot and walking stride. This shoe is so classy and gorgeous.

these boot are super cute and fit my foot, however the flap on the front didn't hit the top of my foot in the right place. as I bent my foot it rubbed on my leg above above the ankle. over time they may have softened, but I didn't want take that chance. I've owned multiple frye products and they last forever!

I got the cognac color and they are gorgeous! The leather is super soft and the fit is perfect. I have a bit of a wider foot and these are really comfortable.
