This is a great quality backpack. Love the design & rugged material. Purchased for a middle school student and was disappointed in the size, considering it is an XL backpack. There is enough room for a binder, a few notebooks & a couple books, but not enough room to store a lunch bag as well. If the backpack had a larger main compartment, it would be the perfect backpack.

We love Herschel backpacks and have purchased a few over the years for everyone in the family. They’re made extremely well and hold up through life’s adventures. We even throw them in the washer when they get a little too dirty, and they come out new. I bought this for my 7 year old son, and it holds all his school work, extra clothes, lunch bag, and water bottle without weighing him down.

Great quality fabric and construction. Fun design. Needed the inside laptop sleeve, which this model has. Some thinner backpacks do not include it.

Used about a month and a half and our daughter showed me today it is broken, pulled out of the seam. Not worth the $70 plus we spent on it, unfortunately!

Cute bag to use anytime,and where. Gets dirty, but is washable.

Size, fit, and finish were great. My only gripe is that the laptop compartment inside isn't padded. Not a dealbreaker for me, but it would have been nice if it was actually padded. Other Herschel backpacks have laptop compartments that are padded.

The backpack is beautiful. Excellent quality and nice size. I'll use it for trips and overnight stays. I got the grey camo on sale. I'm glad I got it when I did. I came back to get another one for my nephew and it was gone.

This bag is for my 9th grader, she fit all the things she needs in it. I would have prefered a bigger style but...

Quality, size, and color are perfect

I returned this for a Herschel "Settlement" bag which has zippers that are easier to access since they're not tucked behind a fabric lip.

Daughter loves it. Only complaint is the side pocket is too small for a water bottle when the main compartment is full. Seems to be well made.
