Couldnt be happier with these. they are amazingly comfortable. I would say buy slightly larger as the lining is thick. Took a little while to break in. The laces are a little strange so i ended up replacing them . Amazing shoes.

You need more than the title? I have these boots in both black and dark brown. Winter in upstate NY can be nasty cold even if there's not much snow. Actually, when the snow is thin the cold feels worse and it hits my feet first. That's why I look at shearling boots so fondly. I wouldn't call these field boots but they are work "country gentlemen" and "urban hip dude" equally well. The extra insulating quality of the shearling is fantastic. I wouldn't rule out getting the last color.

I bought this boot about a month ago. I was looking for a boot that was dressy enough for work, would keep my feet warm, hold up to the slippery sidewalks that one endures in a winter in NYC and I found it!

I bought this boot in two color's; black shearling and whiskey. After a week of wearing them non-stop I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If I had to choose a favorite the whiskey boot narrowly wins my vote. Mainly because the whiskey color looks great with a suit or with jeans. Warning: boot demands attention from spectators and will be a topic of conversation. Sizing: I normally wear a 10.5 wide, I sized up to 11 and boot fits like a glove.

I have worn these three times here in Minnesota.... wow.... They look amazing, both with jeans (holy wow do they look good with jeans...) and with dress pants for work. My feet stayed warm, and oh so comfortable... even being inside for 4 hours at a time, my feet only got a bit too warm when walking a great deal in the office. Overall these are incredible...

Just got these boots in. I wear a 9.5 with all my other Frye's but decided to size up to a 10 to accommodate the shearling lining, and it was a good call! The pull tap on back is lined with pigskin so it doesn't stretch, I thought that was a nice touch. The Whiskey leather has a nice pull up color and scratches are easily buffed out. The boot seems very sturdy. There were a few frayed stitches here and there on the broguing and I noticed what looks like a tiny pin hole near the tongue of the boot. Not sure if they were made that way or if it happened during packaging and shipping, but overall not a big deal. I'm happy with this purchase.

These are great for those cold days in NY. The shearling really does keep our feet warm. Look a bit bulky and somewhat misshapen after wearing them only three times but that's expected givin the lining.

Bought these boots back in January, they've held up great so far. Cant wait for to get them out for another Boston winter. Goodyear construction should keep these going for years, well worth the investment.

I have these in whisky and both feet are fine. My new ones in black in the exact same size don't fit well. The right shoe is so painful to where I feel like I wasted my money.
