Loved the quality and it almost fit. I think it would have been perfect if they made a petite size jacket like this. But because it was too long in the torso for this 5'2" person, it was just a little too tight on the bottom where it hit the lower waist/hip area.

I have not owned a winter jacket in a long time because I live in Florida and work from home. That said, I really needed one because I have a puppy now who needs walks regardless of the weather.... holy cow this jacket is AMAZING! I love it so much. It is extraordinarily warm against the winter winds we get here, but also very comfortable in our humidity. Most jackets overheat me, but this one keeps me absolutely perfect regardless of it it’s 60 or 25 and windy! Might I add how nice it is that it’s wind and water resistant on top of its intelligent warming capabilities. I’m so sad I didn’t buy this jacket sooner. Also, the sleeves are great for pocket lovers and dog owners. You can slip your thumb in so when you shove your hands in your pockets the sleeves stay put. Also great for walking the dog as it keeps your wrists nice and warm. Just stop looking and buy this jacket. For size reference I’m 4’8” and 120 pounds. Small was tight around my stomach and Medium fits well except sleeve length (I always struggle with that.)

First of all let me brag on Zappos. My order was on my front porch in 24 hours. Amazes me every time. The jacket is beautiful. I’m 5’10” and 175 lbs with long arms. I wear a size 10. I ordered the large and it fit with plenty of room for a bulky sweater underneath. The best part is that the sleeves are long enough and the back of the coat covers my rear. Amazing. I got the pink color and it’s beautiful and understated.

Stands up to all weather conditions. Warm, water & wind resistant , like extra length, comfortable in size. After having had several Columbia jackets must remark -- they offer wear longivity. Good service repeatedly . . . through Zappos. THx

Great size and fit but the lining is flaking off...

The coat is very pleasing in appearance and warm. The omni heat lining makes it very warm despite being very lightweight. I can even wear it with only a short sleeve shirt underneath it, because it is so warm and because the lining keeps the inside of the coat from feeling cold on the places it contacts my bare skin. I live in Colorado and have done this with weather in the 30sF. The neck and pocket linings are snuggly and comfortable. The length keeps my lower hips and almost all of my bottom really warm.The security pocket is big enough to be very useful. The only thing I am not totally pleased with is the fit. Women are told to order coats based on chest/bust size, so I ordered a large. It is still a bit snug in the chest with a sweater. But the waist is very big and the hips are somewhat big, even if I wear I thickish sweater. That sometimes allows cold air to enter from the bottom of the coat. I have a similar large Columbia jacket from 5 years ago and it had this shape problem as well, but not as pronounced as this coat. If these dimensions are based on an expectation of what most women's bodies are like, I would ask Columbia to consider that in the regular size range of S/M/L ,despite our shape differences, most women still go in at the waist. (I am 5'7" and weigh 140 lbs and ordered a large if that helps anyone.) I did still give the coat 5 stars because of all the wonderful features I mentioned above.

So, it looks brown on the website, but says it's olive green. Another review said it's green despite showing brown on the website (and they'dwanted brown). I ordered hoping it would be green like the other review said. In normal lighting, it looks brown, but I can see a bit of green in sunlight. I definitely was hoping for green, but it looks just like the picture to me. Feels very warm and runs true to size. I have an older version of this jacket that needed replacing and I'm not disappointed. If you're okay with it looking brown, go for it. If you are diehard that you want green, this is not the jacket for you.

The jacket and style are perfect. Keeps you warm against a cold windy day.....very happy with my purchase. Love Zappos, best company to shop with!

The coat is warm and so comfortable. It is true to size and fits well. A negative about the coat is that within a month of having the coat, the seem on the inside has unraveled and there is a hole in the arm of the coat. I feel that for the price of this coat it should last longer than a month before the seems start to unravel.

This jacket is so warm and light, and flexible - easy to move in. Great in fall and winter. Pockets inside and out are perfect. Omni heat is amazing. Water resistant, but layers well under a rain jacket. Love the thumbhole in the sleeve lining. The fit is very flattering, and it doesn't make noise when I mover. LoveLoveLove it!

Beautiful jacket but I had to return it. I ordered a medium and a large based on the reviews saying the jacket ran small. Sadly the medium was too small and a large was too big.

I've owned this jacket for about a year now and it still looks new. It is extremely comfortable, like your favorite sweater comfortable. It's warm, fits well, and doesn't make you look like a puff ball, but still has room to layer. Temperatures Warn: 0F to 60F This jacket is amazingly warm for cold weather with limited layering, but breathable enough for warmer days.

I got this coat on a whim and I love it so much I grab it every day now. It's warm and blocks wind (necessary to have in Colorado) but it's not bulky or cumbersome. It's also water resistant so the snow lands but doesn't soak in. It zips easily and has zipped pockets. I have never had a coat with the hand covers but now I really like that feature too as it keeps me from having to carry gloves everywhere. I ordered a large in this coat. I'm a size 12, small bust, large hips. This coat zips up over my hips which I what I wanted. It's a tad roomy on my chest area but it turns out that's great because then I can wear thick sweaters or hoodies. The sleeves are long but I just folded them up and with the design of this style you can't tell at all. This coat also comes a tad past my pockets on my jeans so it prevents the wind from blowing up my back.

Incredibly comfortable and cute. Bought in both black and white. Last week brought the black coat with me on vacation to northern California - packed easily and was great on cool nights. Back east today and wore the white one to the grocery store. A win.

I was worried about the sizing on this jacket; I find that depending on the product Columbia's small varies quite a bit. But I ordered a small in this jacket and it fits perfectly. I haven't had the opportunity to test it for warmth as it hasn't gotten cold in Florida yet but it is super comfortable and flattering.

I was skeptical to purchase this online without trying t on. I ordered a medium to give room for sweaters and layering. LOVE it! I have a long torso, and this coat goes past my waste line which I love and is light but warm !. Cant wait to wear it this winter.

Warm and comfy so far! Super soft. A little snug around my hips but not bad.

I'm always worried when ordering clothes online that the fit might not be right. Thus, I usually go a size up especially on jackets since I wear multiple layers. This time I decided to get my exact size to see how it would go and I was so glad that I did. It fit perfectly and I had on two layers on. I ordered the Astral color before it was sold out and it looked so much prettier in person than I expected.

Love this jacket it's light weight, love the color, the fit and the warmth. If anyone is looking for a great jacket this is it. I think this is my best purchase this year.

Nice warm jacket for a reasonable price. I live in California and it has been perfect for morning and evenings lows in the 40’s and occasional 30’s . The length of the back (slightly longer) and the overall fit is flattering and I don’t feel as “puffy” as in some quilted jackets. I love that the inner collar is a soft cozy fleece-type fabric. If I could change one thing it would be to have an extra zipper on the bottom to leave the lower couple of inches unzipped. Otherwise it is perfect and I’m very happy.
