I wear size 10 in most street shoes and D width but I don't like any shoe pinching my forefoot. The DM 2976 Wintergrip feels perfect. I actually took the footbed out and inserted my street shoe orthotic and it fits great. The boot is really well constructed and the leather craftsmanship is outstanding.

Very happy so far with these boots! I needed something to keep me on my feet in the snow and these should do the trick. Quality construction and comfortable right off the bat.

I live in Norway and these not only keep my feet warm but have great traction

These are the answer to Doc Martens in the winter. They don’t slip on the ice. These seem to have at least a partial wood sold on the inside. But, I do order quality cork insoles as the stock insoles have zero arch support.

Fit as expected. Always get half a size to a size larger with Dr. Martens.

True to all doc’s these boots run a bit small... if you wear a 9/8.5 like me, the 8 will be perfect. Classic style and quality, also these are warm even with think socks, so great for winter

I was pleased to find these even more attractive in person than in the photos. A sharp, stylish, casual looking Chelsea boot. They look and feel of good quality. I’m a straight up size 8 and have wide feet and they fit well and feel good to wear. Dr. Martens only makes whole sizes FYI. We get a lot of snow where I live and the winter grip sole in great for making it from car to door with a slip and fall. I’ve had these for a few weeks now and I’m very glad I have them!

I live in Arizona and had a trip planned to cold cold Chicago. I bought these to keep my feet warm and to be my one pair of shoes during the trip. They worked great, they kept my feet warm and no slipping on icy or snowy conditions. The waterproofing was great, of course I wouldn't walk in ankle deep puddles. Now, I am back in AZ and I still wear these all the time. I like they way they look and feel and the ease of slipping them on or off is great! I would say that there isn't much heel support. They fit best with thicker socks, so I got a heel insert and that did the trick. I would recommend them, even if you don't need to go in the snow, very stable for rainy days or just kicking around.

Sizing is true to size and the fit is amazing also very comfortable

Love the fit and comfort of the shoes. I can walk and stand in these all day long! I know these will last a while!

These boots are really comfortable. They fit snugly, but not too snugly, around my ankles. They are also really warm even with thinner work socks here in Maine with below freezing temperatures. No issues so far on snow or ice. Great boots for work and play outside!

I bought these because I wanted a durable waterproof every day boot for the winter months. I’m a realtor and the boots look great and slip on/off very easily.

I am an Amazon delivery driver and these boots are durable and excellent for varying terrain types you come across throughout the day (it is currently blizzard conditions). Only thing I’d say is it does take time to break in these boots.

Docs are always the best.

Toe box too narrow for me, otherwise very nice. Had high hopes for this boot as a new wintertime favorite, but the last for this model results in a toe box that scrunches my toes. Both my big toe and small(est) toe were scrunched/pinched in this boot. This is not uncommon in Doc Martens for me. I have a narrow, low-volume foot overall, but my toes seem to spread too wide for many brands/models/styles/lasts that I've tried. I could try going up a size (would have to be whole size, since no half sizes in Docs), but results are usually that my foot swims in the rest of the shoe, and the natural bend in the forefoot is not in the right place. In terms of style and build quality, these boots seem great to me. A particularly nice point is that this sole - unlike most Docs - doesn't flex too easily, meaning to me that there's some good support there. No actual arch support, but that's something else (I always add an orthotic to Docs). The build quality and finish seem fine, and if the product copy is to be believed, both this sole and these uppers are designed for winter conditions. The interior is lined with a slightly napped material - don't know how warm that would be. In my opinion, if this model fits your foot, this would be a great boot for keeping by the door during winter for quick trips, shoveling snow, or out and about in messy winter conditions. Stylish, easy on/off, and seemingly good materials.

My experience is that Dr. Martens always run a little big. I wear 8.5 US and Dr. Martens only come in whole sizes. These are a little loose, but the boot shaft is tight enough that they don't slop around. If it is cold and I want to wear a heavy pair of socks there is plenty of room for that.

The claims that the wintergrip sole helps avoid slipping is false. The shoe provided no traction whatsoever in a light rain.
