I have a pair of cushion vistas that are a few years old. I recently had a baby and one thing they don't tell you is your foot grows at least a half size so I needed a replacement for them. The new ones feel a lot cheaper comparo the old. The old ones have more cushion, and don't feel as flat. I wish the quality had stayed the same. They're still a great style though.

In 2017, I was walking around Santa Monica with sandals that hurt my feet. My boyfriend suggested going to a local shop and buying me a new pair of sandals that don't hurt my feet. That's when I got my first Reef sandals. It's the Cushion Vista in Natural. I've worn those sandals almost daily and for the whole day, and they never hurt my feet. When it was finally time to replace my sandals, I couldn't think of any other pair. So I decided to purchase two Cushion Vistas - in Natural and Cloud II. Unfortunately, Reef has changed the sole, and it's not as comfortable as before. I recently went to Hawaii and took my new Reefs, and after 4 hours, they hurt my feet. I didn't have to break the original sandals I bought and could walk for 8+ hours in them. I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the new Reefs. The previous version was perfect then; why did they have to mess with perfection?

I love the way these look and feel, but don't love the squeak that's happens with every step I take. I am hoping this will break in and stop at some point because it's honestly embarrassing to walk around a store! Also wish there was half sizes.

These are super cute and comfortable, but the material of the footbed is soooo slippery that it's somewhat hard to walk because there's nothing for your toes to grip. Also air gets trapped between the foot and the shoes and that causes high pitch squeaking noises. I saw reviews about squeaking and thought it was like the squeaking of new fake leather, but the squeaking has something to do with the way the shoe is designed and/or the footbed material. It's really weird and unfortunate because the shoe is so cute and comfortable.
