I am a power Walker. I suffered an acute sprain in my left ankle. After it healed, the pressure from pounding down on the pavement would reignite it. I looked for an insole (foot-bed) that would channel away the energy from my ankle but did not find any. I purchased a pair of tailored insoles, it did a good job of shielding my ankle, but the pressure was now deployed in my knees; now both knees became sore. I was a bit skeptical of Timberland at first, thinking that their insoles were intended for their work boots only. I called their customer service and was assured otherwise. I then purchased my first pair. Their sizing table was a range table so I had to do a bit of pare down on the inserts. The delivery was as specified at checkout time, and product arrived in excellent condition. My advice on paring is to measure and mark off your correct size then pare down using a pair of scissors. Cut a little on the outside of the marking then gingerly smooth around while inserting in the shoe and observing where a little more smoothing is required. Sometimes I place my insoles on top of the ones that came with my shoes, sometimes beneath. Both ways, they fit perfectly; no dynamic shifting while walking. After wearing them for some time now, I am very pleased with them. Not only has my ankle irritation ceased, but there is no soreness in my knees. I only wear the insoles while powerwalking, I do not need them otherwise. My reason for getting the insoles was to divert the pressure of pounding on the hard pavement, from my joints (ankles/knees), when powerwalking. My objective was to be able to continue walking without pain or discomfort. To both ends, I am perfectly well served and satisfied.

Buy a small for size 9, unless you want to trim em down with scissors. Medium is really intended for size 10 I think.

I got these for a new limited edition pair of Tombs and they make a HUGE difference. I wore my boots for 15 hours without my feet killing me at the end. Great insert!

These insoles are very comfortable only takes a couple hours to get them broke in and seem to be make with strong materials would strongly recommend to anyone that is in there feet all day

I thought the arch support would hurt my feet, but they do not at all. High quality insoles and are pretty comfortable.

Great for being on concrete for 12+ hours a day. Put these in instead of the soles in the brand new week old boots and there is a large noticeable difference in improved comfort.

I got these to go with some boots i ordered, the boots didn't work out, but these are amazing. I wanted to use them for something, so i just slipped them in my Crocs, it feels like I'm walking on air. I will definitely buy these again sometime.

Thick sole, excellent quality

I own 3 pairs of this specific insole. I use them in work boots,crocks, and sneakers. It really helps keep what arch I develop. The hard shell never loses its support.

These foot beds are the perfect thickness and support for timberland boots. Just a little trim to size and they offer just thr right amount of support.

I Use this insoles to replace my Irish Setter Red wings work boots insoles, as soon as try then on I was able to feel the difference in confort level. Theirs are amazing! Next day at the end of work shift my feet were not sore or tire and really made my work day more manageable. They fitted well into my boots only having to make a small trim around the edges to remove excess material, other than that they fit fine.
