The good, the bad. This is a comfortable shoe. I do not run (much) anymore due to arthritis. I do a lot of walking with my dog. They are comfortable and I can actually do a light jog. The bad. The area on the inside at the heal is literally disintegrating. I stopped doing triathlons 4 years ago and I never had a pair of shoes, especially this price, that falls apart on the inside from your heel. Sadly, I will not be buying again as the shoes should last and be intact for more than 3 months of 9-10 miles of walking a week.

Cool idea to make a waterproof sneaker. Unfortunately, the waterproofing material makes a very audible "crinkling" sound when you walk. I love On Cloud shoes...but they need to come up with a better solution for the all-weather concept.

I bought this to wear for a trip to Europe where it was supposed to be very very wet and rainy. It didn’t rain much, but from the minute I put these waterproof sneakers on,my feet were in heaven. I did a lot of walking and I didn’t even practice wearing it at home. They fit beautifully and were absolutely comfy without even wearing socks. The ladies in my group kept telling me how great they look. I showed them the fab soles too. Upon returning home,I wear them basically every day-love love love them. Well, two of my friends ordered them even before returning from Europe. As I continue to wear them, even in this dry weather,I still keep giving out the info on Zappos to buy these sneakers. I’m surprised Zappos still has any left. I am now going to order more of these- cloud sneakers-that are not waterproof. U r truly walking on CLOUDS!!!

I was so excited to give these to my wife for her birthday. She has been begging for a pair of OnCloud Waterproof shoes, however, she has only wore them a few times and the toe box on each shoe are peeling extremely bad, to the point that she doesn’t want to wear them. Extremely disappointed that within less than a month they look very used. Purchased in February and didn’t give them to her until March.

While these shoes are extremely comfortable and lightweight, unfortunately they are not very durable, especially for the expensive price. After three months of wear (daily walks of 3-5 miles, worn for walks only), the fabric on the inside heel of both shoes developed small holes/tears. The fabric covering this area is way too light, with a thickness and stretchy texture like nylon pantyhose. After the holes appeared, the interior padding started to wear away as well. The photo was taken when I first noticed the holes. They have become much larger since then. These shoes are way too expensive to not be made to last more than three months. Durability seems to be a problem of the On Running brand in general. I bought a pair of Cloudventure Waterproof shoes for my wife ($170/pair) and the wear on them was even worse. The cushion loops on the soles wore out within a few months, and about six of the loops on each of the shoes broke or tore, making them unsafe to wear. On also refused to honor the warranty for what was an obvious defect (they recently changed the design). The comfort of On shoes is excellent, but unfortunately I can’t recommend any of their shoes as the construction is not durable and the life expectancy (3-6 months) is way too short for the expensive prices they charge.

After wearing Hokas for 5+ years of running, these are very "minimalist". I have seen a lot of You Tube runners wearing this brand. That is why, when they popped up in a "waterproof running shoe" search, I went straight to Zappos (because they have *the* best customer service, shipping and return/exchange policies!) and chose these in my regular size. They fit right to the front of the shoe. However, they do not feel tight. I did break them in a bit, as I really thought that I'd never chance a run in them! So different from my favorites (Hoka Cliftons). Curiously, no reviews here are made by actual daily or regular runners. So, maybe they are meant more for "looks"? Anyway, I did end up running on the treadmill first with these and slowly broke them in. They never hurt my feet and are surprisingly comfortable. Then, I took them on a 10K+ on snowy roads in the big park behind my house. They are, indeed, waterproof! 38F and they kept me warm running through mostly snow! The last bit, I noticed my feet getting wet. So, I suppose there is a limit but I really put them to the test in almost 7 miles running snow covered roads and trails. I am debating going up half a size but they aren't available in this sweet colour. Otherwise, they performed decently. I wonder about the life of these shoes, as they seem like they would not last long and the upper would wear out or even tear before the soles were shot. I'd expect more from Swiss shoes. I still won't give up my Hokas but I can run in the winter without frost bite! That's the goal, for me.
I'd also recommend:
Hokas! For waterproof, Adidas and Inov8 seem promising and more durable&better prices

I had to go a half size up since the shoe does not come in a wide width. I wanted a water proof shoe for my morning walks and this one works and is comfortable. I did take out the insole and put in my orthotic insoles. I tried a lot of water proof shoes before finding one that worked for me.

On Cloud's are the first truly good looking running shoe in my humble opinion. A month or so ago I bought the non-waterproof version of these and needed to go up half a size (7.5 to 8) to get my toes from hitting the ends. For the On Cloud Waterproofs the 8's were about half a size too big so I would say this style is true to size. Weird that the sizing runs differently between the styles in a Swiss made shoe. Thank you Zappo's for the easy return. I'll be back to get these in my usual size soon!

I had to send the first pair back because it was too big. The smaller size fit and I love the shoe. Just be warned unlike the other On styles are more an accurate size.

I am LOVING these shoes! They are super comfortable, easy to put on & off, keep my feet warm & DRY, and even clean up easily (without a ton of tread on the bottom to catch debris). I have searched for flexible light-weight running shoes that are waterproof and these finally fit the bill! Highly recommended.

These On Cloud Waterproof sneaks are are pretty and some of the trim is reflective which is good if you run when its dark out. i posted a pic showing the reflective trim. i got the rose/lunar in a 9. i’m normally an 8.5 but in On sneakers i wear a 9. Weirdly these fit a little snugger than my other size 9 On sneakers. they fit like an 8.5 but i’m keeping them because they’re really nice and still comfortable. i probably could get a way with wearing thin socks but couldn’t wear my bombas.

I love the On brand including these shoes. Only problem is they fit a bit more snug then the other styles. I would need at least a half size bigger for them to fit comfortably.

Although On recommended going up half a size, I decided to go with my true size. The shoe was initially stiff, especially since I was wearing thicker socks, but after a few days I switched to thinner socks and the difference was notable. It did not feel stiff anymore. If you order up half a size, beware that the shoe may loosen. My foot is almost wide, but after the shoe broke in it didn't make a difference. I love the style of these shoes. They're sneakers I could wear without feeling drab. As for the waterproofness, it's mixed. For some reason, the waterproofing on the right shoe is not as strong as on the left shoe. If you're walking in the rain, your feet will stay dry. But a big droplet of water could penetrate the membrane on my right shoe and wet out. It's better than other sneakers, but it is not 100% waterproof. Test it out by running it under a faucet or a shower (on the toe part, not the throat) and seeing how the inside of the shoe stays dry. After the shoes broke in, I found them comfortable to walk and run in (though I mostly bought them to walk in).

Although the length of the shoe felt true to size, it was a little narrow. I bought these at the recommendation of a coworker who couldn’t say enough good things about the shoes. For me, these were okay, not as comfortable as I was expecting (might be due to the waterproof aspect). Also not very pleased with the style, felt a bit dated - something my mom or grandparent would wear. Also, they def make a little noise when you walk.

I wear size 8 in regular shoes, and 8.5 in sneakers. Ordered 8.5 and they fit great. There is a faint crinkly noise, but it’s not bothersome. Haven’t tried them out in the rain, so can’t speak to that. Overall, I like the fit and look of them, so these are a keep.

I’ve been super happy with how these fit and hold up to daily use. I haven’t been able to find a waterproof shoe that actually lives up to its description! I have already bought a second pair! They wash well and look great.

These shoes are so comfortable! This was my 4th pair and new style. They run 1/2 size smaller than normal for me and others who own them.

Bought these for my mom for mother's day and she loves them! She said they were comfortable from the second she put them on. I purchased a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews.

*Make sure to buy a half size up* The waterproof fabric is both breathable and easy to clean. I am on my feet all day for work and these are incredibly comfortable. ON will be my go to brand going forward. Definitely worth the money.
