OMG! I thought this was going to be the boot of my dreams--lightweight, seemingly a stabile sole, water proof... But when I saw the boot, there were two very bad features: One. The white piping that surrounds the shoe just above the rubber bumper looks cute in the photo, but in person that piping makes even my tiny foot look Frankenstein-ian! I could have lived with that in light of the other positive aspects of the shoe, except for... Two.THE TONGUE! The tongue of the boot may as well have had eyes and ears, as it large and stuffed just like a teddy bear! Literally, a plush toy in the top of the boot. So over-padded, so bulky, so unwieldy, so will-never-stay-in-place. It's such an obvious design flaw that I don't understand how that boot even got produced. Back to the drawing board for that element. So, I will sadly be returning the item.

I am pretty solidly an 8.5 shoe size and this boot felt about a 1/2 size too short so I have the size 9 on order. The width was perfect for an average foot. I was most impressed by how LIGHT this boot is but seems as though it will be quite warm and it is super comfy. I love the on and off ease with the shorter height. I got these primarily for running around town, to and from yoga and apres ski at the mountain and they will be perfect for all of that! Very excited to get the correct size tomorrow in the mail and then I am off and running! Don't hesitate to try this one out...it's the perfect easy winter boot...oh yeah, and it's WATERPROOF to "boot"! lol

Purchased the green which is cute and stylish. It is lightweight, comfortable, and has a synthetic nylon-type upper material. I read the previous reviews and my expectations were based on the boot's description provided by Zappos. So, I received what was expected. I recommend these boots. It will upgrade your outfit with some style.

These are SO comfortable! I have very wide feet and traditionally haven’t fit into Sorel boots in the past. I ordered a half size up due to some of the reviews I saw...and they fit perfect! Very warm & comfortable—can’t wait to test them out in the snow.

The fit is pretty good, I have narrower feet and I like how they don’t make my foot look super big even when the boot is a whole size bigger than what I normally wear. I just received them over the weekend but there is no snow for them yet. I have them on at work and these will be my go-to boot for everyday wear to run kids to school, errands and even going out on the town when it’s cold and snowy. The only thing I wish they had was a side zipper for easier on and off, but very pleased with these. And the army green with black is cute and different and can match everything!

SUPER CUTE! I love the style of these boots and their comfy. Ultimately I went with a different pair of Sorel's that don't have a tongue. Based on other reviews, I agreed that the tongue might end up bending forward and letting snow sneak in. The Sorel's I went with have no tongue, go all the way around the ankle, and even have a bungee to keep out the sneakiest of snow. Still, I'd love to buy this pair later just for the style. I live in the SF Bay Area and they'd keep my feet warm :)

I typically wear a 10 medium, very occasionally a 10 wide. I find the left foot to be perfect, and the right foot to be JUST JUST JUST a hair tight, but in the width not the length. My right foot feels ever so slightly squeezed. I could have used a 10 wide in the right foot. That being said I am going to keep these. I otherwise love them and think they are very stylish. Since there is a lot of padding on the inside of this shoe I think it will fit better in time.

Truly waterproof

I bought these for the snow and they were almost perfect. Since they aren't higher cut I got some snow down my ankle when was walking through fresh deep powder. Not really a biggie to me. I wear size 11 and they fit perfectly. Definitely waterproof as well.

Great boot! I own the cozy carnival but love these just as much. My style consists of athleisure so to wear this once it get colder with my tights is a great addition to hell keep my feet warm. Great in the wet weather as well and keep my feet dry! Very pleased.

I was so excited to get these boots and so sad when they didn’t fit me right. They felt true to size. I usually wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7. They were the right length and fit everywhere, except they were too tight around the widest part of my foot, which for me is the toe box. I loved the green color, but a bigger size would have been too long.

This boot was too narrow. When I put it on with my hiking socks it squeezed my foot across the ball of my foot. BUT the worst part was when I tightened the laces there was a crease just under my ankle bone that was very uncomfortable. Sent them back

I am a 10.5/11, and try to avoid clunky looking boots. Lucky for me these were adorable on! And the white stripe and color breaks actually make my foot look SMALLER - so they are attractive. I got the green with black fur. They are comfortable, and no tightness in the toe area (like many of these short boots) so if I wanted to I could wear a thicker sock. The laces are easy to tie - no struggle, and seem to STAY tied. The arch support is very good. I was also liking the Sperry boot, but the better arch support in these threw the vote. That they have an inner waterproof membrane is a plus. I am older, and want a stylish, functional boot that makes me feel sure-footed in ice and snow. The quality seems very good too (only time will tell there). Oh - also it's a light-weight boot, which is also preferable to me. So, all in all, a winner! Style, function and arch support.

I liked these out of the box, BUT once I tried them on they weren't for me. I took a chance on ordering a size 7 M since I normally wear a size 6 1/2 W. They were light in weight, but unfortunately the width on the shoe just rubbed my foot wrong. I think I just have regular wide feet...so maybe I would discourage those with average wide feet not to try these.

Cute, short boot. Easy to get on and off. However, they feel light but not in a good way, more in a low--quality way. May have kept them to try them out in the cold and snow, but one of the tongues had a defect.

I purchased 7 and 7.5, not knowing how Sorel tends to run - ended up with the 7.5 as they seem to run a smidge small, especially when you consider wearing thick socks with them on snowy days. I LOVE the color and the style. They seem very comfortable and lightweight. Warm enough right now with temps in the 30s - hoping they stay that warm when it goes to -30!!!

So far so good, haven't had opportunity to wear them out just yet.

Love these! Favorite boots! They feel like sneakers and hold up really well. I've worn them almost everyday for months and they look great still.

Ordered these boots for my wife for Christmas and they look great and are lightweight ,comfortable and waterproof . she wears a size 8 and half and i ordered the size 9 and they fit perfect for her
