I bought these boots before reading the reviews and was really nervous they would be too small because I didn't size up and the size up wasn't available. I got them and tried them on but was bummed because they were a bit snug in the foot. I was going to return them but decided to walk around the house with them on to see how they are. They ended up loosening up quite a bit and are now perfect. These boots are incredibly warm and comfortable. They are a great quality for the price. I can wear these walking in snow in Colorado all day long and my feet are toasty warm, dry, and comfortable. I love these!

I bought these boots during quarantine when I wasn't venturing outside for long stretches during winter. This was the first winter where I was back at my job, commuting every day and spending hours walking around outside in an urban area. These boots are definitely warm and comfortable, but they're not waterproof. I didn't realize it until I spent way more time wearing them, which is my mistake, but I wanted to warn others who need a truly waterproof boot. If you step into a decent-sized puddle or walk through snow and wait a few minutes for the snow on your boot to melt, you will likely feel some moisture in your socks. When it's cold outside, this moisture makes the insulation less effectiveon longer days, my feet ended up wet and cold until I got home. Now I'm looking for something with more of a rubber shell around the foot area to avoid this issue.

I was looking for warm comfy snow boots that were more fitted than the big ol' Sorel "boats" that I've had for years. The older boots worked fine for short walks in snow, but they were not fitted enough to provide adequate support or comfort for longer walks or ski-shoeing. These Whitney boots are just right for my needs. The foot part is much more nicely fitted - fits *almost* like a sneaker (not quite), and the ankle and leg portion can be cinched up snugly around my ankle and calves so that they do not slip or let my foot wobble around inside the boot. They are also much more lightweight but still warm and dry.

I'm truly, madly, deeply in winter love with these boots! They are incredibly compact, flexible, and comfortable for a boot with this level of warmth - they look absolutely adorable, feel like wearing a cloud, and are toasty warm. JUST SIZE UP - I'm typically a 6.5 or 7 and ended up returning for a 7.5, which fit to perfection. The boot is so lightweight, they wear like regular booties or shoes, plus the sole bends as you walk for a normal stride (not clunky at all). The laces are easily adjustable and stay tied, plus the tongue layers under the sides a few centimeters, so there's no "seepage" of cold air into the boot. There's such fabulous attention to detail with these boots - there are little loops near the heel to help with pulling on/off, and the traction is divine on slippery surfaces. ZERO regrets on this purchase, I couldn't ask for better, cuter, cozier boots!

I really loved these boots for a while. They're very comfortable and wear like a normal tennis shoe, which is great for snowy seasons in the city. Size-wise I sized up by 1 and that fit perfectly. Unfortunately, after 6 months of total use/2 winter seasons (which, unfortunately, is over a year chronologically and so falls outside of their one-year warranty), the waterproof is completely gone. In even a small bit of water or snow, my feet are completely soaked and cold. For reference, I did store them safely in their original box during all off seasons and I cleaned them at the end of any winter to ensure salt wouldn't erode them. Overall, I guess I'd say these are great if you're looking for a short term/single season winter boot. If you're looking for something more durable that will last you several years, I'd go with a different brand/boot.

I've worn these boots outside twice. Both times I almost immediately slipped and fell. Literally the worst boot I've ever tried wearing during the winter. Would have been better off wearing flip flops. Don't waste your money!

Exactly what I wanted, though as other folks have mentioned, they are narrow. So they feel pretty snug across the front of the foot, but it's not uncomfortable nor does it cut off my circulation. I like that I can slip these on and off without tying and untying them - I don't think that's the intention, but it's great that they're shaped in a way that they can stay on despite loose laces... maybe because of the snug/narrow foot!

I normally take a 9 so that's what i ordered, they fit perfectly, very warm , very comfortable and waterproof! I have a very narrow foot and they run narrow/ for someone who has a wide foot these boots would Definitely be too tight !
