I bought these boots to be warm and waterproof. They are warm, but I haven’t worn them in rain yet. I appreciate the sturdy soles and the folded down fur top is sort of cute...

I ordered the quarry because I wanted brown & it looked like brown from the picture. It was gray. I didn't really pay attention to the fit because I knew I was returning them. Tried on 1 boot & it seemed to fit.

The boots were comfortable. They fit true to size, are stylish and warm. I will avoid wearing them in the rain or snow as the other reviews state that they are not truly waterproof and I do not want to ruin them because I paid significant amount of money for them.

Good fit and warmth! Just picked up boots on Friday and figured I’d give them a whirl during my running ????? around on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised - no pain or rubbing right outta the box! This is my second pair of Sorels and I’m a fan for life now! The only thing that I didn’t like (which was in other reviews) is the inability to do the fold over and snap for the cuff collar. The boot ? is too stiff to do so and that sucks. But, nonetheless, I needed a black boot with some traction to it with some warmth and this fits the bill - I’m keeping them!

Rubbed my little toes enough that I was afraid to keep them. Darn- I REALLY liked these boots!

I really wanted these to work because I loved the style. But, alas, they were just too tight in the width. I went up a 1/2 size, and they still were not comfortable. I normally wear a B width, but these seem to run tight. I guess I'll just keep trying since I wanted a waterproof, stylish boot.

Ordered these because of the style and being waterproof. When I tried them on they seemed tight. So I tried them on with a moderate sock and also with a pair of leggings, for which I probably would be wearing with them. They were too tight. The heel also seemed a bit narrow. So I sent them back and ordered a half size up. Hopefully, that will do the trick because I really liked these boots.

great brand and pretty shoe(brown). I ordered a whole size up( should be able to wear with thicker socks). Normally sorel brand fits perfectly, but these ran really small for my normal size for boots.

I like these boots. I wear size 9 and ordered size 9 and they fit fine! I tried several pair of Merrell winter boots but the toe box is too narrow for my wide feet. I've worn my old Sorel boots for at least 10 years now (winter only) and would continue loving them, except the support is not good enough anymore. Hope these new ones wear just as long.

I own a few Sorel boots and always order a half size larger than my usual size of 8. It’s the only show brand I’ve ever had to do this with, but it’s consistent. I got these in an 8.5 and they fit great, even with thicker socks. They are cozy enough to wear without socks, but that’s not how i would have used them. I ultimately returned because they hit at a slightly weird spot on my short legs (I’m 5’2”) and I didn’t love the way they looked. But great color and quality overall. Would have kept if they were under $100.

I took these boots out of the box, put them on, did a turn around my wee apartment and--get this--even though I actually take a 8.5 in a narrow (one bosky foot needs room),I doffed a pair of heavier socks and sailed right out in to our Seattle snow, slush and ice. They are well made boots, waterproof and WARM and I LOVE them. And I don't know how to answer the boxes above since this is not my true size. Thanks, Zappos!

I ordered 1/2 size bigger and it was still very tight. I returned them as I did not feel they were that comfortable. I could not have wore them with socks and a size larger would have been too long.

I got these boots for my mom. I ordered a 6.5 & 7 to see which fit best, the 7 was the winner. I read the reviews and everyone said to go up a size and this is true. My mother loved the boots and when the snow comes she is prepared.

Overall these boots are warm and comfy but they are a bit awkward. The toe box is narrow and the arch support not quite high enough for me that I worry they would get uncomfortable after a long day. The zippers are on the outside of the foot which is weird because all of my other zip boots zip on the inside (I didn't realize this until instinctively looking for the zipper on the inside). The upper is just loose enough around the ankle to make me think of Uggs, which I dislike. I will be sending them back because it's not true love and for the price tag I feel it should be.

I was looking for a sturdy winter boot that's warm, waterproof, and can be worn to work or casually--BUT did not look or feel bulky or "outdoorsy" like most winter/snow boots tend to. This boot definitely fits the niche, and is actually warm and soft/cozy inside. Tried on several other similar black winter boots that state that they're made for cold weather, but they lacked real insulation. Style-wise the other boots were a bit cuter, but the reality is that they won't be comfortable or warm enough for walking around the city in cold weather. These boots are. I'm happy with my selection (comfortable, warm, good support and cushion for walking, and can be dressed up or down). Size up by at least 1/2 size. They run small.

I wear size 8 but read the reviews and ordered 8.5, however I did not need to. I think the boot runs true to size. It's a bit bulky but very warm and comfortable.

I've been looking for a good winter boot and was hesitant to spend a lot of money. It took 2 tries to get the right size. I had to go with a half size larger than I typically wear. I wish the zipper went down a little bit further, would be a bit easier to get on and off. Otherwise, very happy with these boots and with Zappos!!

I love the color and overall look of this boot. Felt mostly true to size, if just slightly snug. The zipper is really hard to use. It's at a funny angle. Looking for a boot that's easier to get on and off. If the zipper didn't bother me, I'd keep them.

Loved this boot up and folded down. The leather is thicker and boot insulted so felt like it would keep my feet warm in winter. To accommodate a thicker sock I went up a half size from an 8 to 8.5 (my normal size is 7.5W- 8M). This boot is comfortable, but I found it too tight on the top of my foot because of my high arches so I had to return them.

Cute boots and so comfy. I think they will look great with jeans and leggings/tights. Not sure I will ever try folding the cuff over, it doesn't seem like it would work very well. BUT I really like the side zipper because getting my foot into pull on styles just doesn't work since I broke my ankle. I thought they were a little bit too large and sloppy feeling, even with socks, and because I liked them so much I reordered them a half size smaller (thanks for making it so easy Zappos).
