I purchased these based on my love of the Joan of Artic wedge. They do not disappoint. However, I do agree with the other reviews that you should size up 1/2 a size. I needed to get 1/2 size larger than what I have for my other Sorel Wedges. Width and support were as expected. I ordered the Quarry color, and the laces are hot pink. I thought they were red based on the photos, so just a heads up!

I wanted to LOVE these. But there were just too narrow and hurt my feet almost right after trying them on. I don't typically buy a wide shoe, which leads me to believe these run narrow.

I love these! So cute and fun for fall. Enough room at top with laces to shove jeans or pants into them before tiring. I ordered up 1/2 size as other reviewers suggested and they fit perfect (usually wear 8-1/2, ordered 9). I actually have a few Sorels in 8-1/2 and a few in 9 so I guess it really depends on the shoe model.

I have owned the Joan of Arctic Wedge II boot for 3 years. I came to love them and wore them almost daily through all three winters. This year I decided to try out the Lexi Wedge boot and I just might love this one even more! I live in Michigan and the winters can see up to 12" of snow and also lots of rain. My feet stay cozy dry regardless the weather. The wedge provides height without pain. I get compliments frequently with these boots - esp when spotted by other Sorel footwear lovers. I typically wear a size 9, but needed to size up to a 9.5 and they feel great. The only downside is that the toebox is slightly smaller on the Lexie than it is on the Joan of Arctic II. It was a little bothersome at first, but I adjusted quickly. Also, i wore these walking around for a few hours on the first day I received them and had no breaking in period! Five Stars, and I'd buy again in another color! GET THESE BOOTS. They are worth every penny!

These shoes are worth every penny. Slip them on and your on a bed of clouds. I was worried the heal would be Higher than I’d like (I am aging away from my daily 3” heals I’ve worn the past 20 years) but they’re perfect in fact they don’t feel the 3” they are. And cute? Better even in person, I bought the quarry, I liked the edgy-hiking look of red laces however like a previous review the laces lean a little towards pink but a rich deep pink almost red. Perfect. I found the size exactly true, I where 7.5 in heals but because of reviews, I ordered up. The 8 are wearable with thicker socks but for the money I should hold out for 7.5. I want to wear them tomorrow! I’m torn!

I preface this review by admitting that I never do reviews but these shoes are so frustrating and I read 298398 reviews on different retailers so I figured maybe I could help others. I got 8.5 and the 9. I am a solid 8.5 (39.5) in every single brand- that IS my size across everything from Louboutins to Nikes. Now- the 8.5 arrives and it's super tight across the top bridge, with narrow socks, it's ok, but with thick socks, it was intolerable because it presses the top of my foot down right above where the toes start so it's pressing on bone. The next day I get the 9 and it's more comfy b/c it's clearly bigger but the issue of the bridge is still there and my foot slides a little upward when I walk, because it's a tiny bit big. The 9 allows me to wear a very thick sock but still presses. The only reason you can get away with going with a bigger size is because of the height of the leg shaft, otherwise, your foot would slip out. Honestly- the 8.5 is my size, but these aren't very well made in the sense of sizing- other than that the quality is excellent. My advice- go with your normal size and wear them with thick socks and take a blowdryer to the top to heat up the leather and stretch it a bit. Lengthwise- the 8.5 is perfect- my size, these shoes are just narrow but not from side to side, from top to bottom (if that makes sense). It's like they didn't account for the dip of the wedge with the natural arch of the foot when the foot is in a heel. Honestly- the 8.5 is a little more comfy today than yesterday so maybe it's a matter of stretching them out with wear. So, hope that helps.

The fit is spot on, I wear 7.5 heels, 8 flats; I bought an 8 bc of reviews and shoe is a little big and 7.5 were sold out so I kept them and wear thicker socks. I’m amazed how soft the foot bed is, I buy good shoes and these, with heel, shot to top for comfort. One thing, however, I’m not used to a boot hitting me in the midlower calf - being new canvass type material, my leg was rubbed raw the first day. So second time (2 days later) I protected my skin. 3rd day worn I went bare legged in that area and my leg was fine. Give the fabric a good solid day of wear to soften up. These shoes are so cute! They give me the height I love with the stability of a flatter boot - the hidden heel along with deep red/pink laces give the boot an edgy hiker feel. I recommend! Worth the money!!

It was a mistake to go half a size up! They're way too big and then they screwed up my return! I'm mad! Only go up in size if you have fat feet

Trendy and comfy! As others mentioned, I ordered a half-size up and it was perfect! I have a flatter pair of SOREL boots that I've worn for a year and like. These are now taking over as my favorite boots to tuck in my skinny or wear under my flared jeans. The cushion is great and I can walk in them easily for half a day or longer.

I love these boots! This is my first pair of Sorrel boots and I will be looking at this brand in the future. They fit true to size and are very cushiony. You can't really tell there is a 3 inch heel when walking. I love the way they look with jeans and the fact that I can tuck my pants in there.

These boots are awesome! Super comfy and trendy! Definitely needed to order at least half a size up, maybe a whole size if planning on wearing socks! I am seriously so in love with these I even wear them around the house!

I followed the advice of other reviewers and purchased a half size larger than normal and glad I did. These are VERY comfortable. I honestly was not expecting it when I put them on( can never wear heels or wedges) but I could easily wear these through a few airports (my ultimate comfort test) They hurt a bit around the ankle opening but easily solved with a thick pair of socks and hopefully will break in. I honestly thought I’d be returning these (found them in a friends fashion blog) but NOPE. Instead will be ordering a few more pairs. Very quiet soles and I don’t even feel like I’m wearing wedges. A++++ from me!

I love Sorel wedges and this is my first pair of lace up wedges. They definitely didn’t disappoint. They are just as comfortable as my slip on wedges.

True to size and beautiful design! I ordered 8.5, have a wide foot and it fit perfectly with room for socks if needed! These are unbelievably comfortable you don’t even feel like your wearing anything with height which says a lot for someone who lives in Alaska that struggles in most heels. The traction is amazing on icy parking lots I’m in shock how stylish and practical these are without being a bulky boot for winter!

Having had bunion surgery (both tailors bunion and regular) I have to be super careful with any kind of heel. These are AMAZING. I know they’ll just get more comfortable the more I wear them but they are already from the first time out of the box supportive and truly great quality. Well worth it! I’ll be adding more to my collection when I save the money ?

These are awesome! I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, and they are lovely. They fit perfect and they make me feel sexy in the winter which is no small undertaking!

These are very comfortable. I normally wear 8.5 but always order a 9 in any of the Sorel wedge boots. They are a little pricey but well worth the money. They can be worn in the rain and snow, can be dressed up or down and they are comfortable! They are supportive enough to wear when shoveling snow too.

Great fit. Ordered my normal size and they’re perfect! Bought these in black too. Love them! My feet are warm and dry. The soles are non slip. They are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. The 3” wedge heel is wonderful. No sore feet or back when I wear these all day. The holy grail of winter boots for me!

I tried these on at a local store (Scheel's) but they didn't have the color I wanted. The fit was amazing and the biggest reason I want this boot. This is the 2nd pair I've tried from Zappos. The left boot of the 1st pair was constructed so that the front panel was WAY off center to the inside and the tounge was attached very far to the left interior of the boot--so odd. I knew this was a fluke so I returned and re-ordered another pair. Meanwhile, I went to another local store (Evereve) to see if they had the black color I wanted and tried them on again. Perfect!! Same awesome fit, but no black. In short, the 2nd Zappos pair arrived and this time better ...but the heels one each boot fit completely different. The heel of the right boot isn't snug at all. The back half of my foot slides around the inside no matter how tight I make the laces. Wish I would've kept the left foot of one and the right foot of the other. Anyway, I am tryin g a third pair and I'm sorry for all the shipping. It seems wasteful, but I really love these boots. Thank you.

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are great for short walks, but not for trudging around on a vacation. For some reason the sole isn’t actually fasten to the shoe, so it slides around. (My other pair did this as well.) these are great for lengthening your legs, and comfortable enough for a day of light walking.

I ordered a half size larger than normal after reading reviews, so the size I ordered fit perfectly. I wore them, fresh out of the box, all day for a college football game, and my feet felt great, even with the cold temps and being on my feet all day. Love these boots!
