I was drawn to this boot immediately because of how stylish they are. I live in Upstate, New York so finding a warm AND cute boot is a rarity. I didn't hesitate when ordering. When I received them, however, I couldn't help but be extremely disappointed. The craftsmanship and construction is subpar, especially considering the price tag. There were lots of loose threads, threads sticking out everywhere, and the shearling is very thin. Every time I take the boot off the insert comes all the way out as it isn't adheared to the boot at all. Under the liner insert is a plastic heal and construction. So while they are cute, I expected more for my money.

I rarely write reviews. I've had my eyes on these for a while. I really wanted to buy them but I never wear heels due to joint issues. But I was so drawn to them that even though I've bought 5 other pair of Sorels in one year, I bought these too. As other reviewers said, they don't feel like heels. They feel stable and well-cushioned as far as shock absorbtion goes. I do feel some pain in my joints from wearing a heel for hours but I have severe arthritis. With that said, these boots are so chic - they make me so happy. These are the kind of shoes that give you that extra bit of swagger in your step. They are feel-good boots. If you're on the fence like I was because of the heel height, just buy them. Now I'm trying to talk myself out of buying the other color. And by the way, the gray boots are gray. I've seen reviews either on this site or other sites saying the boots appeared to be olive green when they received them and some boots look more two-toned than others. Not the case for the boots I received.

I purchased the camel brown boots in the beginning of the season and the second I saw them on sale in grey, I snatched them up. I live in MN, and there are not only super cute and comment worthy at school drop off, but they are so warm and cozy on cold mornings. I can wear these boots for hours and feel comfortable. They look perfect with leggings and jeans. And, they can be dressed up or down. They fit perfect to size (8.5) and have no pinch points. I love them!

Bought this at the end of summer and finally got to wear them when the weather got cold. I love them and get lots of compliments about them! They are definitely warm (YAY!) and surprisingly fit true to size with the Sherpa! Super cute, cozy and pretty comfy, too. Truly a great buy! I'm a fan of these wedgesI have 2 pairs: one for the lesser cold and one for the bitter cold. Hope this helps!

A bit nervous they would be too dark but fell in love when i got them. Cant wait for winter to wear them. They feel comfortable walking around the house.

Stumbled on a sale after contemplating buying during the winter at full price so I couldn't pass them up. They are gorgeous! Love the lamb fur, the sturdy construction of the wedge, and the color. They fit perfectly and look great on my feet. I can wait to wear them regularly. Will definitely get other colors

I've been wanting a pair of Joan of Arctic wedge boots for a while because I think they look so chic and I live in a cold climate. It was hard to decide which color to get because both are so appealing, but I went with Quarry because I didn't have any grey boots. I'm so pleased with these! I have worn them practically every day since I got them. They are very warm and very weatherproof. The snow and slush and ice has been unavoidable for months where I live, and these boots handle it like a champ. No slipping or sliding, no cold wet toes, and no salt stains. Just beautiful, comfortable, fabulous. I recommend going up a half size if you want to have room for warm socks.

I bought these in Quarry and absolutely love them! My momma didn't name me Grace for a reason and with all the snow and ice we've had this winter I wanted something I could walk outdoors in without falling, but still rock on nights out and look hot. These are perfect! I've worn them nearly every day since I got them and immediately bought more in another style. I get so many compliments every time I wear them. They keep my feet warm and dry. The wedge style is sturdy, yet somehow incredibly comfortable. The camel pair will be next! I adore these boots!

Yes they fit true to size so going up a half size is perfect, especially if you like wearing boot socks or fuzzy fun socks like I do. These are my second pair of Sorel in two months and I am so happy I made the investment. The perfect go-to's for wearing my skinny jeans skirts and dresses. Did I mention, they are Super Warm :) and walking through the snow in Michigan is no problem at all. I am a very happy lady:)

I got these right before the big snow storm of fabruary 2019 hit Seattle. They kept my feet warm, dry and very stylish! I could not recommend these enough for anyone that lives where it is cold and or wet! The weather proofing is amazing! These boots have been life changing for me! I typically wear a size 8.5 in all my other sorels. These fit true to size. I can even fit warm socks under without feeling like my feet are suffocating. The only down side to this boot was that the fur on top is very white and a little bit of my blue jeans rubbed off onto them.

I was skeptical that the boots wouldn't be comfortable or that they wouldn't resiste water/snow. I had to re-order 1/2 a size larger since they were tight at my normal size. I usually buy 9 for all my shoes except for tennis shoes (I get 9.5). Overall, the boots are so comfortable, the heel is not too high and you can walk long distance without any discomfort.
