My favorite shoes!

I tried these on at an athletic shoe store that even had a fancy measuring system. They first recommend an 8!! I said "no way"...I am a 6.5-7. The ones I tried on in the store just were not that comfortable for all I had hear and read. But my achey feet were crying out to get them so I ordered them in size 7. Wore them around house a few hours, and they seemed way too wide and the comfort was just not there. SO...I traded them for a 6.5 and they are wonderful, awesome, everything I have heard about them seems true!! I wear them for Jazzercise and it has made a world of difference in a very short time.

Fantastic shoe

I really liked the shoe for me. I have Hoka’s in 9 and 9.5(sometimes feels to big) depending on if I am running or just wearing around. I feel like these come in at a 9.25 which works for me. Purchased the black and I like them.

I ordered three different styles of Hokas after ready many positive reviews. I ordered this one and two different styles of the Hupana. I knew the Hupanas would not be as cushy as the Clifton but didn't realize there would be such a huge difference! I have problem feet - high arches, hammer toes and have had several bouts of plantar fasciitis. I have to be very careful about the shoes I wear. This particular style is wonderful if you have problem feet. Couldn't believe how great they felt when I first put them on! There not as stylish as the Hupanas, but my feet are happy so that's all I care about.

This pair of shoes is my 5th or sixth pair of Hokas! I go to seven Jazzercise classes a week, and Hokas have changed my workout routine. I am a 10B, and the shoes fit me perfectly, and literally add a spring to my step. I used to suffer from stress fractures; no more injuries with these shoes. I am a photographer, and the hiking Hokas are also my absolute favorites. This review isn’t hyperbole at all.

These are truly the best pair of running shoes I’ve ever owned! My second pair of these and I honestly can’t imagine ever buying another running shoe!

This shoe runs half a size to a full size larger your regular shoe size. I am usually a size 7.5 and I got a size 7. Just take that in mind if you are buying these and consider trying a half and a whole size. My heel was slipping out a little at first but I pulled the laces tighter and that took care of it. The arch support on this is so prominent that is borderline painful. Getting a "wide" width would probably help with that but it is not available in the Clinton 5 knit. This shoe seems to run a bit on the narrow side too. All that being said it's so cushiony and comfortable. Taking the inner sole out help with the super prominent arch support problem. I will likely get some new soles in there. These shoes are fabulous and with some tweaks and playing around to figure out sizing, I'm definitely keeping them!

I had difficulty with this shoe because of the knit upper. It did not hug my heel well enough and would slide up and down. I tried a 1/2 size smaller and it did not help the issue with the heel slide. Will wait for the regular style to be back in stock.
