Wanted to love it! I was recommended Hoka brand by my orthopedist, also a runner. Recovering from broken foot, I needed stability, cushion and room for high arch and wide foot. I ordered several different Hoka models and all felt different! Straight out of the box, I thought this sneaker felt stable and cushion-y. By the third run, however, it became clear the toe box was squeezing my toes. I could not bear to wear them over an hour and could not wait to get them off. I consistently order women's 11M on Zappos and to allow for enough room, I ordered men's size 10 in this shoe. The length was enough, but not the width. 4 stars for color and design. Asics Gel Kayano all the way.

I loved the Bondi 4, hated the Bondi 5, was very optimistic for the Bondi 6, but it feels like it’s less of a shoe. It’s sloppier, smaller, more narrow than others. It feels cheaper, despite the price. Overall I’m disappointed. Despite running on Hokas for the last several years, I’m going to have to look elsewhere.

I have worn the shoe at work for three months and sole is peeling off on the heal.

I really wanted to like these shoes. My typical shoe is the Saucony Zealot ISO 3. It's being discontinued by Saucony and I was looking for a replacement for my daily runs. This shoe while soft on impact was overall way too stiff. My knee started to hurt and didn't subside. I immediately went back to my Zealots and knee pain went away.

I would have been better off saving money and buying the closed out Bondi 5, which I had previously owned and really liked. In fact, I wore them out in 6 months. I bought the 6 model on the assumption the size of the 6's would be the same. It turns out they run 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than the previous model. The result is that my heel slips a bit when I run or walk, not enough to come out but enough to bug me. Also, although the cushioning is very nice (although not noticeably different to me than the 5), the 6 model is heavier and feels a bit clunkier.

I have the Bondi 5s. They're super comfortable, but the soles are falling apart. The part that's molded and 1 piece is fine, but the front and back of the sole have pieces that are glued on. These pieces are falling off. I will not buy another pair. PS This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Hokas.

I am disappointed with my Bondi 6s. I've worn several pairs of 5's which I really like and assumed these would be sized the same but they are not. The 6 is an inch shorter on the outside dimension and thus tighter inside. Going up half a size as Hoka recommended to me results in a slightly too large shoe. They look terrific but don't feel as good as my 5s and I've now tried two sizes. The 6 may fit some feet just fine but not mine.

With 5 pairs of 9.5 Hoka's in my stable, two of which are Black Bondi 5 I was a Hoka convert. Right out the gate I get the new Bondi 6 and in hours I realize this is a different shoe. Way too soft. Poor fit. My toes were sliding to the front. Returned them and got a size 9. Too small. Serious disappointment here. You can't put a price on a great shoe and gladly paid the going price. I just need to find a new brand now.

I have run 30-40 miles per week for years. I've owned 3 previous pairs of Bondi models with no issues. But almost immediately noticed a difference in arch feel and I developed plantar fasciitis with the Bondi 6, despite no changes in running patterns. Disappointed. Likely will not buy another pair.

I have been wearing Bondi shoes for about 5 years starting with the Bondi 2 and loved them. Bondi 4 was the best. The Bondi 6 became unwearable. These are more narrow than previous, to the point that I had to try a wide. The Bondi used to be Hoka's widest shoe. The arch on the inside of the foot is incredibly aggressive to the point of being torturous in the regular and still causing irritation in the wide. The Bondi 5s started to get aggressive, but these 6s are much worse. I am not going to be wearing a Hoka One One shoe now for the first time in 5 years, and I am pretty disappointed about it. I will have to try again with the next generation. Read some of the 3 star and below reviews and you will a common theme with what I experienced. If it benefits anyone, here has been my 'generational' experience with Bondi shoes: - Bondi 2: Literally cured my metatarsal pain. Best shoes I ever wore and I told everyone about them. The upper material was garbage with the thin tongue and the sole did not have enough rubber to protect the foam so it did not last very well, but I did not care, they were ridiculously comfortable. - Bondi 3: Cool, some upgrades on materials on the upper (still not great) and some added rubber on the sole where the main wear was taking place. Still outrageously plush like walking on pillows. Good work Hoka. - Bondi 4: Now we are talking. This is the zenith, we can stop here. Vastly improved upper and improved rubber on the sole. Same comfortable marshmallow goodness I had come to expect. I even bought the leather ones in addition to the regular shoe and wear them extensively. - Bondi 5: Hey, what happened? Narrower shoe, a little more aggressive arch, not quite as plush. I wear them occasionally, but they are not as comfortable as I was used to, and still wear the Bondi 4 leather on a more frequent basis. - Bondi 6: Much narrower, very aggressive arch. Unwearable. Why have you failed me Hoka?

I tried 2 different styles and three different sizes. All were between 1/2-1 “ short but oddly enough the right foot was a lot shorter on all. Had a friend who is the same size as me try them and they said the exact same thing. Cushion is amazing but length is very odd. Sad to return was really wanting them to work. Back to Brooks glycerin

This was my first time buying them. I started using the shoes for walking at night to lose weight in a residential neighborhood (sidewalks/streets). After a few months, the right shoe started losing its support and giving me aches in the knees and foot. The shoes still look nice but the support gave out on the right foot. I purchased them because they look like they had a lot of support for overweight men. Maybe I was just too heavy (270 lbs) at the time and tore down the material on the right foot? Plus-side; lost 14 pounds, now I am down to 256. I think the shoe support would do well for lighter and leaner men.

When I tried it on, it felt pretty goodlength is right and width seemed okay for my slightly-wider-than-normal feet. But once I started wearing them, I realized that my initial thoughts on the width were wrong. In the area behind the toes, it is almost like they constrict as I wear them, feeling pretty good at first, but after a while, like they are squeezing my feet. The laces don't reach that far and are loose anyway, so I can't do anything to make them expand in that area. The fact that the footbed is pretty shallow may be a part of the problem. I am either an 11 or 11.5, depending upon the shoe company, but maybe I should be a 12 in the Bondi 6 even though the 11.5 is the right length. Whatever the case, I am very disappointed in an expensive shoe.

I bought two pairs looking for neutral. First, the clifton but the new version is completely different and killed my feet. So, I tried the bondi. Instant pain in knees and hips. I specifically need the most neutral shoe possible, and I've been running in cliftons for several years with no problem. Unfortunately, I sent both pairs back and moved on to a different brand completely.
