I've been happily ordering a pair of of Keen Elsa sneakers once or twice a year for the last 4 years. I was really surprised to realize the quilted version arrived with a much more narrow space that is super tight immediately before the toe box. My bunion normally fits comfortably in Keen shoes but the stitching is too tight on this pair. I'm not sure if it is a manufacturer defect for just this pair or if it is an issue across the board on this quilted design. I took these shoes fresh out of the box on an out of town trip and was in pain by the end of the first day. I figured I had laced them up too tightly so I tried loosening the laces. Then I let the shoes sit for a few weeks so the soreness on my foot could completely heal. I tried again with the laces loosened but had the same problem - PAIN! I just cannot wear the shoes. I hope this is a one-off problem because every other Elsa sneaker I've bought have been super comfortable.

I was disappointed with the fit of theses sneakers. I wear the Keen leather walking shoes in a size nine. I like them because my foot is in between a medium and wide, and their Keen Presidio shoe is a great width for me with great arch support, and although they are sturdy, they are flexible as well. These Keen Elsa II Quilted Sneakers were a half size smaller and the arch was not supportive and not lined up with my arch. The heavy, heavy, non-flexible sole felt like paper weights on my feet. They have zero flexibility. Sent them back. The only reason that I gave them 3 stars was the quality of the materials. They are not cheaply made.

These are supposed to be an update of the Coronado but they don't fit the same. The toe is narrower and because of this I had to reorder a half size up. Since the wide toe box is Keen's best feature and the only reason I wear Keens, I consider this a huge step backwards in design. These are nylon so there's a little sheen and they are a bit stiff but not as stiff as my canvas ones. The footbed is still nice and cushy. The stormy weather/ wrought iron color is really cute so I kept them, hoping the slightly larger size will make up for the narrower toe. The toe is still slightly wider than most brands for women, at least. If you buy Keen's for the toe protection, you will be disappointed in the downgrade in that area too, but these will work for casual wearing.

I love the look of Coronados & have worn them for years (to work in retail on cement floors no less). I recently decided to order a new pair but found out they are no longer available & have been replaced by the Elsa. To complicate matters, I'm now disabled & need 1 shoe to fit over a foot/leg brace while the other still needs to fit my unaffected foot. The quilted Elsa works great! I was able to remove 1 foot bed, which accommodates my brace, & leave 1 intact, providing the same comfort & support I've always enjoyed with Keens.

Great sneakers! These fit like a dream the moment I put them on. They look wide in photos, but I have a narrow foot and the M width is just fine. I bought them for taking long walks and so far they have not disappointed. The tongue of the shoe has some stitching along the edge that at first felt a bit rough against my skin, but after one day that doesn't seem to be a problem. They are really cute, with unusual quilting and a striking color theme. The heel fits really well, too, with no rubbing. The soles have excellent traction. This is my first pair of Keen shoes and I think they'll last a long time. Worth the cost.

I love the look of theses sneakers. Especially the “square toe.” They were a tad small. I wore them to a concert and unfortunately very early on, they rubbed the back of my heels, even with thick socks. Not very comfortable. These are not for extended wear. For this price point, was really expecting more.

These are absolutely great! I have the black/steel grey and the stormy weather/wrought iron ones. They fit my feet well (my heels are slightly narrow and my forefoot is a little wider). I have been wearing them for several months now and couldn't be happier. I do need a little more support in all my shoes and I was able to place my orthotics in the Elsa II without any issues. The quilted fabric is soft and comfortable and the colors are really cute. Thanks Keen!

This was a welcome return to my love of Keen tennis shoes. I worshipped my old Coronado style and missed their generous toe box for wiggle room. The first Elsa style was a dismal failure for me - flattened and narrowed toe box with the rubber toe cap extending too far back. This is a happy medium - the toe box feels a bit more generous, the rubber cap has been pulled back. It takes on a bit more of a retro look again while making my toes happy. Runs true to size although I do seem to have a bit of heel slippage - probably because they are not my dearly departed Coronados (no doubt stretched way beyond their original fit!) - seems to be a titch low cut at the back of the heel. But, so much closer to the generous rounded toe of yore!

I love my fuzzy wool Elsa sneakers from last year and was excited to try this version. Felt like a good fit when I tried them on at home but the first day I wore them out of the house, I ended up with blisters on my heels and instep. Can’t return them since I wore them outside, guess these will just get donated.

I LOVE these shoes. I ordered them in two other colors. I have worn them for days of 14 hours on my feet with over 30k steps. So comfortable. Even at the end of the day my feet didn't hurt. They are cute too!

These are adorable, I love the touch of quilting as it makes the shoe look more high end. There’s not much arch support, but the cushion insert is bouncy so I didn’t feel like I was walking on concrete or anything. I wear these with sport skirts, casual athletic dresses, jeans, capris...basically they look cute with anything. Like a little kids shoe featuring grown up styling. I am a size 9 and they fit great. Also, the shoe shape and rubber end makes my feet appear smaller than they are, so there’s that. I wouldn’t wear these on a walking vacation or anything, but certainly for about town and out at night. I reach for them daily!

Bought these for my wife as she started a job as a paraprofessional at a school and was on her feet a lot. She said these are the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn and understands why I always wear keens now.... her foot pain went away and so did some of her back pain!

I saw these in a store and tried on my usual size - a 7. They were too short and they did not have an 8. So, I ordered the 8 from Zappos. The 8 is great! I don't find these have much arch support so I inserted one and the fit is even better. I really love the look of these shoes. I ordered the charcoal with the blue laces and wear them with jeans, skirts and dresses. They are so, so cute on.

I wear a size 9, but my toe bumped at the end so moved up to 9.5 and it was great. These are pretty flat inside but with nice cushioning and my feet are happy with them. If you need arch support you should be able to add a little something inside to accommodate that. I’ve gotten several compliments already and am enjoying the color combination.

I went by another review that these were reminiscent of my beloved Coranado sandals and they do feel similar. I so miss those shoes!

Really cute sneakers! I got the Stormy Weather/Wrought Iron color, which is a nice change from plain gray or black. They fit like Keens, which I'm pretty happy with. Nice grippy sole. A little stiff to start but they are breaking in well.

What I like most about these shoes so far is the cushion in the footbed. They are very comfortable for walking!I wasn't certain I'd like the quilted look but I actually like it a lot! I usually wear a size 8 and I ordered an 8.5 because I thought I read another review saying these run small. I do not think they run small. The 8.5 feels exactly 1/2 size too big. I'm keeping it as is, though, because I like my sneakers to be a little roomy in the toes and I can easily wear different types of socks with them.

I bought these shoes in Black because I own the same style in Blue and Tan colors and I love them. I have bunions and orthotics and I like the removable insole...makes it so easy. They are wide enough for my toes to be comfortable in them and so far they are the ONLY athletic shoe I've found that I can wear. I like the black quilted color and fabric for fall and winter. I ordered my usual size 7 and they are perfect. Super cute too! I get compliments on them every time I wear them.

These shoes fit nice and snug even though many shoes are too wide for my foot. Unfortunately, these threw my lower back out of alignment. So, I had to return. I have a pair of Keens purchased several years ago that worked well for me, but these do not. There are only a couple brands of shoes that I have found that work for my foot type.
