I was marginally disappointed with these shoes. This is my third pair in 8 years from ZAPPOS. They wear wonderfully and are very comfortable....EXCEPT this particular make. Here’s the problem—the tongue (which is the flap that your laces lay on) is about 1/2 inch narrower than my last two pair. Why? Why would the manufacturer take a wide shoe and make the tongue narrow? This means my socks shine through under the laces. Which means I look like MS. FATFOOT in them. I haven’t returned them because of the comfort and overall fit. I am disappointed in the shrinking tongue!

This shoe is one of the most cushioned shoe available from Brooks. For good foot health you may need to go a little wider and longer so your feet have plenty of room. Less crowding for your toes gives you a much better feel. Alternating your shoes so your feet ride in a different place every day extends the life of your shoes and helps your feet. The bones in your feet can rest in a different place every day.

Brooks narrowed the midfoot to create a faux arch. Too bad that faux arch doesn’t allow orthotics to sit flat. Toe box is nice and roomy and the shoe feels nicely cushioned. Was sad to return it.

These shoes are AMAZING! I roll my feet to the outside and also require a roomy toe box - these support both. Very nice cushion, which I also like. Great, supportive sneakers that are totally worth the price!

I'm a supinator and struggle to find a shoe that helps me keep my foot flat and prevents rolling it to the outside. Not only is this shoe SUPER cute (I bought the purple/pink style), but it offers plenty of support and helps control my problem.

This was the first purchase of Dyad for me. I have owned two pairs of Ariel and two pairs of Ghost. For the price, I feel that this might be my new shoe. I like this fit better than the Ariel, it's slightly narrower and really stays put. I felt my feet would shift slightly in the Ariels, at my normal size. They also wore out quickly (especially the 18 style, the previous model I liked better). I use this for cross training and jogging on a treadmill. I have high arches and altho I've never been diagnosed, I think I have the smallest amount of supination.

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable for wide feet. I can't remember the last pair of shoes I owned that actually allows my toes to wiggle while still being snug enough in the heel. They are also well-cushioned with just enough arch support. My only complaint is that the color is not my favorite, kind of an icky mixture of purple and red, but it was the only option in my size. And last but not least, Thank you Zappos for perfect service, as always.

I need extra wide shoes, and even then they sometimes squeeze my toes. These shoes were comfortable out of the box, and even my bunion is pain free. I walked 3 miles the next morning and I felt great.

I have knee, back & hip problems. These shoes are about all I can wear. Wear very well!

These are the only tennis shoes I have found that do not aggravate my morton's neuroma. I tried orthotics, cushioning, arch supports and nothing works like these shoes. I can walk miles and miles or play VB for hours. I have a blue and a green pair. The blue pair is more comfortable than the green (reason unknown). I am buying another blue pair to keep in reserve.

Because I wear inserts I need an extra wide. Thank You for having it in this really nice looking shoe. Love it, the inserts fit well in it and it walks really well.. You would have to have really bad feet to understand how this shoe is a BIG find for me. Love the extra cushion.

This shoe fits perfectly. I don't care for the color, but it was the only one in the extra wide size. I have a big bunion and this shoe doesn't bother it at all. I am very happy with my purchase.

Wow! I just got these, but I put them on and ....ooh! It's good! I have a lot of foot issues, tend to get tendonitis in outside of right ankle, supinate, plantar fasciitis, hammer toes....what a mess. I think these my be the most comfortable, supportive shoe I've ever found for my pitiful feet. I may not even need my custom orthotics with them. I hope Brooks comes out with some better color choices. I really like the dark grey ones but that's about it for me.

Wanted to love these as they are comfortable and cute, but normal sizing was too big and 1/2 size down was too small :(

These are working well for me. I wear full orthotics and wanted a neutral soled shoe because otherwise the pronation throws me off. The toe box is wide enough where my toes don't feel trapped. The dark maroon color was of the few colors remaining in my size so I chose it by default but I actually am liking it. I have narrow ankles too but fortunately am not sliding out of these shoes. I am using these mostly for the gym but can see wearing them all day too.

Super comfortable and really pretty. I got the maroon ones, and I just placed another order for the blue.

They fit to size. I love the comfort of them. I wore them to work last night and today. It was a total of 12 hours. Really I should have broke them in a little, by little as being on my legs that long was a little too much. But, over all I love them and like I said the comfort. Amazing fit to size. I would highly recommend them. This is the second pair that I have bought and both are awesome. Will be a return to order more. They were delivered in no time flat. That made me very happy.

After searching and searching for a pair of comfortable athletic shoes I tried these. They are the most comfortable shoes i think I've ever put on my feet! I'm new to Brooks, but I will definitely be a return customer if they keep producing shoes like these. They don't rub anywhere and it feels like I'm walking on air. They accommodate my ugly bunion with ease, and my feet feel like I could walk or run a million miles. And ladies, I wear a 9 1/2 WIDE! LOVE LOVE!

The Brooks Dyad 10 is the first pair of Brooks I've owned. I've been looking for a extra wide shoe to accomodate orthotics plus give me a cushioned feel - especially in the front of the shoe underneath the ball of my foot. I have bunions and currently I'm nursing a neuroma that is quite uncomfortable and causing me to walk differently. Walking differently to avoid pain is having a negative impact on my back and knees. The Brooks Dyad felt good right out of the box. I put it on and decided to keep it immediately. In fact, I bought another one about an hour after trying it on. The insole comes out and there's plent of room for my orthotic. If you can keep the insole in the shoe - you're lucky! It's super nice and very cushioned. the Dyad has a very cushioned sole, but it's still supportive. My feet are comfortable from front to back with plenty of room to aliviate pressure points against my bunions. Right now - it's my go to shoe and I'll be watching to see if Brooks makes it in different colors.

I bought these after a recommendation that these shoes are great if you have an orthotic. They are very comfortable but I have heel slippage — if they were a tad deeper heel cup, they would be perfect.

Have worn Dyads for some time. I like these but find that they are a bit tighter than my older Dyads (still use) on a bunion, and after awhile, this is irritating. I’m wondering if there has been a slight change in their design.

Length of shoe is true to Brooks sizing. Mid foot volume is high. I can put my 3/4 inch cushioned orthotics inside the wide width shoes. The normal width works great with my 1/4 inch thick cushioned orthotics. I do miss the gel cushioning Brooks used to use in the midsole. The foam is not nearly as cushioning or impact absorbing. I would like a solid black and white option. I do think the new colorways and fabric look better than the last few Dyads. These have a 70s vibe.

The Dyad 10 is better than the Dyad 9 but still not as great as the Dyad 8. I would prefer a more neutral color, perhaps gray with a navy highlight. The purple/pink/gray combo would be okay if the gray were the predominant color. These are the only shoes that come close to fitting my wide foot and my supination issue. Please to back to the Dyad 8 fit and color scheme.
