This is a totally different shoe from the Ghost 10. It's shorter in length, is lacking in arch support and is nowhere near as cushy. It is , however, very good looking. I purchase mostly for comfort. So back these went.

Fit and size were great BUT these shoes only lasted 5 months. The tread on the bottom wore out and was too slick to run on. And I am not really much of a runner. I probably wore these for 3 hours of bootcamp a week and maybe another 3 miles of walking per week. These shoes should have lasted longer for the price

After some serious walking in the Ghost, I know the difference between Addiction and Ghost. These shoes hurt! And thank you Zappos for letting me return. I’ve learned my lesson!

Not a lot of cushion! Good looking shoe, but I need more cushion for my bum knee!

I usually wear an 8, got an 8 1/2 and it was way too small.

This was marked as a narrow but it does not feel like it. Mainly the front of the shoe seems to very wide and looks ridiculous when I put on and walked across the room, as there was all this extra space on top of my toes.

The size was fine, the shoes are attractive, but I need a more supportive toe box area. Shoes are very light and comfortable so would be great if I didn't need more support than they provided.

I liked the cushioning in this shoe, but the 9 1/2 AA was too short and size 10 AA felt too long.

I originally ordered the size I normally wear size 7.5M in Brooks Ghost, but had to return them for a half size larger. I have been wearing this style for years and the style that was before the Ghost and not sure why the 7.5 did not fit, but the toe box was smaller and tighter in the 7.5M. The 8M is larger and not perfect, but I did not want another shoe, so this will work for now.

I so much wanted to love these shoes, which felt absolutely great when I pt them on, but by the end of the day my feet were throbbing, some ‘support” in the middle of the outside last of the shoe literally left me limping and it hurt for several days.

This is my first serious try with Brooks. Definitely first with Ghost 11. Nothing really wrong with these, only I suspected that I needed a M instead of W width. Wide toes, narrowish heels, need padding for Morton's neuroma. I returned these pretty nice sneakers for the Glycerine 17 in half-size larger, regular width, after seeing the Glycerines recommended on an orthopedic site. Very similar look, and yes, higher arches, more cushioning. So I returned the Ghosts (thank you, Zappos) and kept the Glycerine 17. So far, so good. I may try the Ghosts in the size that seems better for me, but for now my feet are quite happy in Brooks Glycerine 17. But as most of us here know, that may change in a while. Feet (sigh).
I'd also recommend:
Saucony, if they widen their toebox again; Naot "masai" (nicely wide toes).

Normally wear 9.5 wide in all previous years of Brook Ghost. The only color I really liked in Ghost 11 didn’t come wide so I ordered a 10 medium. This worked for me on the Ghost 10. (Also had a pair of 9.5 wide in another color that worked for Ghost 10) The new Ghost 11 didn’t fit right at all. Felt really low on my ankle like I could walk out of the shoe. The comfort was not there. In the past I knew the minute I put the shoe on it was perfect. Tried 9.5 wide in ugly color but that wasn’t comfortable either. Trying a different model now.

This is an amended review of Ghost 11. After trying to wear this shoe I returned it because it is too hard under the ball of my feet. The shoe doesn’t have enough shape in the arch area to be attractive. It’s very different than the previous Ghosts I have had and liked.

First: Zappos auto selected my shoe size at 9. I ordered the 8 1/2 that I’ve worn for years and it was fine. It actually feels a little larger to me than my last pair, but I think that is because of a wider toe box, as others have commented on. Second: The shoe quality seems lacking to me. Yes, it is lighter than previous years, but does not have the cushion and support that I’ve come to rely on with Brooks Ghost. I don’t see these lasting as long as the previous years Ghost. Third: Zappos, like so many others that get too big, too fast, needs to look a little closer at there ‘quality’ control’ concerning returns. As a frequent customer, who has also returned my fair share of shoes, I have always been respectful of the fact that someone else will probably receive the pair I return. And like myself, wants to receive NEW shoes! The shoes I received this time were obviously just tied and tossed back in the box! No tissue wrap or stuffing, just two shoes in a box! When you are paying over $100 for a pair of shoes, this is not what you want to see. I actually am left wondering if someone wore these long enough to affect the cushion, or if Brooks is responsible for my disappointment?!

Such a great color combo and great arch support! However, these shoes felt a full half size too small.

Oh how I love this Brooks Ghost 11..unfortunately my knees do not!! I know these shoes are made for a neutral walker. I supinate which means my feet hit the pavement on the outer side of the shoe. My wear pattern is on the outside while the inner part looks unworn. Years ago, I bought shoes based on how they look and then feel. I wore the wrong shoes for my running because I didn't know what a supinator was or a pronator or even a neutral walker/runner. I learned after my knees began to hurt me and I was having trouble getting up from a chair. A good doctor taught me how to buy shoes. I purchased this shoe since a neutral shoe can be worn even though a shoe for supinators is preferred. I had a pair of Ghost 10 and had no problem. This model is different and whatever they tweaked or changed made my knees hurt literally after 10 minutes. So, although I love the style, love the color of grey/Silver/White, love the way they look with jeans (I was only going to wear them as a run a round to the store type of shoe not serious running), they unfortunately must go back. Ladies, learn the style of your walking! Look at the wear pattern on the bottom of your favorite worn running shoe. Buy accordingly. Your knees will either love you or let you know they are mad and unfortunately when that happens the damage to them is already done!
I'd also recommend:
Mizuno Wave Prophecy (very pricy) or Wave Rider (much more doable!)

I have the Ghost 10 and really like them so I ordered the Ghost 11. I loved the style and it fit true to size but they made my feet ache after any time length of wear. Way too expensive to not have them make my feet feel like a dream.

I am normally a huge ghost fan, and have purchased 4 pairs of Brooks ghosts in the past. But this year’s version didn’t do it for me. It fit okay on the left foot, but the right one was terrible. It’s like the arch was in the wrong place. I returned the ghost 11 and purchased the glycerin 16 instead.

After wearing on a short walk ... the bottom of my feet started to burn ... and now my back is hurting me .. Thought these were the best ... not for me so unfortunately, they are going back.

Grateful to Brooks for making a narrow version! However the front of the shoe flares quite a bit so made my skinny foot look so big? Some heel slipping but could have made it work if I had not found the new balance 840v4 in narrow.! Not sure why tennis shoe manufacturers think women with narrow feet wear black or white old style shoes only? Very frustrating!

I am so frustrated. I wore this shoe around the house as suggested, and they felt great. So, I finally hit the road excited for my new shoes because my others were worn out. After about a half mile, I started feeling the familiar feel of rubbing on the bottom of my heel, and sure enough, there is a huge blister. Now I'm out $120 and no shoes. They don't seem to be slipping. I tried the half size down and they were too small, so I went with the recommended size. Not sure how to really review these, but this is my experience.

I loved the Brooks Ghost 10 so I really wanted to love the new 11 but in comfort & fit it just didn’t even compare. I felt it lacked the support and was a much thicker and clunky shoe. Just like all Brooks it they tend to have poor color combinations and between the colors in the clunkiness I was super disappointed. The only positive I could say is that if you have a normal/medium with foot, but like a roomier toe bed, this might be worth a try.

Fit was OK, but the style was "meh"... also, what happened to the other tongue lace loop?? Why in the world put only ONE on. I also do not like the flat, skinny laces. Bring back the puffy ones! The arch support seemed like it was in a different location in this model (I have the Ghost 10 and I really like them, wish I would've stocked up before they changed it). The outsole (on the instep side) looks huge with it being all white, which is a turn-off for me. I sent them back, will keep trying other Brooks' models.. sigh.

I've been a ghost gal since the 6's. This model missed the mark. It seems in the quest to chase trends, cut costs, & maybe make the shoes a tiny bit lighter they went too far. There's no perceptible support on the top of the shoe right above where your toenails are. Some shoes refer to this as the "toe cap". This model rubs blisters on my toes and rubs my toenails off! Walking they're fine, but running is awful. I've tried different socks, applying vaseline to my toes, etc. It got ridiculous so I switched brands to Hoka for now. The length and width of the shoe is fine & feels great, it's just the "height" from insole to upper. I've never ever had this issue before. Brooks PLEASE bring back the toe cap upper support to give my piggies some breathing room!

Previously, I had a pair of Ghost shors and they were great. I really wanted tk keep these but they were just too wide for me. The were way comfortable, but kept sliding. If your foot is narrow at all i would not recommend. I ended up returning.
