I love these boots. I normally wear a 6 but ordered 6.5, fit perfect. Shaft is perfect circumference - not too big nor too tight. Comfortable right out of the box except for some stitching in heel feeling rough on my bare foot. Socks will fix that. Overall this boot is a winner. Reminds me of a pair I had in high school in the late 60s. Very happy with my purchase!

These are really cute boots! Because I have wide feet and these don't come in widths, I wasn’t sure these would fit at all so I ordered an 11 instead of my usual 10 and hoped for the best. Born’s Torrey boot do indeed seem to run small in length but since they have a rounded toe box are wide enough for my feet. Most shoes that come in WIDE are wide in the ball area then taper thru the toes rather than keeping the width for toes to spread and move (bunions anyone??) This boot accommodates my toes pretty well without adding additional length (again as most WIDE shoes do with the tapering toe box) Foot shaped shoes are very hard to find. Anyway, my only complaint with the Torrey’s is the left boot kinda slouches in at the ankle and the zipper is irritating. I can work with it by wearing heavier socks and maybe a blister pad or bandaid. Other than that, these are keepers!

Beautiful boot! They took a few wears to break in comfortably, but it was worth it. I love the color, the finish of the leather and the unique moccasin style detailing.

Oops! I wrote my review thinking I ordered a 7 and 1/2 as I usually do, but I ordered an 8, because the reviews said they ran small, and it is a bit too large for me. i may end up sending them back, but I do love them. I will look elsewhere for a 7 and 1/2 because they are so darn cute! They are also very different looking.

I just got these, I love them. They are a little big, I normally take a 7 and 1/2 in a boot, and that is what I ordered, but it is roomy. I tried them on with thick socks and I think that will work for me. I love them. They lookalike a moccasin, very earthy. The leather has variants of different tones and I love that too. There is ample room in the calves, maybe a little much for my skinny calves, but they are still fine.

After reading many reviews stating that they ran small, I ordered both my regular size and a half size up. I found that my regular size fit better and anticipate they will become roomier with continued wearing as leather/suede tend to do. They are very comfortable and have good support. I expect to be wearing them a lot as they are casual yet versatile. And there's a little nostalgia factor as they remind me a bit of the knee-high moccasins that were popular back in my (60's) high school days. :-)

They were snug for the first week, I am so glad I kept my normal size, 9. They are perfect now! I have fibromyalgia and my feet need a break-even from good shoes at the end of the day. Not the case with these, I can wear them around the house at night and don't get that leg fatigue feeling. They flex and bend with my feet so I can stretch my feet during the day, rotate my ankles and keep my muscles limber. I want to buy another pair to put in storage but they sold out! I would buy them in different colors if Born makes them. Highly recommend! They're very pretty cute and have gone with everything I wear, even long skirts. Now for a summer shootie/bootie version of this boot!

LOVE these boots. Bought a 1/2 size larger than usual after trying them on in a store since I wear thick socks inside them. Standard Born quality and fit.

Ordered my usual size 8 and it fit great. My feet are narrow, so I worried the medium width wouldn’t work. But there was no slipping with a medium weight sock. Love the height of the boot, not too tall and has a little bit of room at the top, no big gap. Super cute with jeans! Very comfortable to wear all day.

I LOVE these boots. They fit true to size, but might go up half a size if you wear thick socks...thin socks are great, but thick might cause it to be tight across the top. They zip easily even with skinny pants tucked in and feel like slippers. I've gotten many compliments and have only worn them twice so far.

After reading a lot of reviews, I ordered a half size larger and that was a mistake. I returned those and ordered my regular size. I do have athletic calves and there is plenty of room for my jeans and my calf!

These boots run a little small. I bought a half size up from my normal size and they fit good. Super soft material and so comfortable right out of the box

Before I purchased this boot I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger because the boot runs small. I wear a 7 1/2 so I ordered an 8 and they fit great. There is not a lot of support in the ankle but there just a dress boot.

Definitely short in the toe area--or maybe it was the seam accross the toes that made it uncomfortable.

I have been looking for a knee boot with a really wide toe box. I wasn't in love with the way these looked online but the toe box looked big so I went for it. In person, they were way cuter! I became really excited about them. The leather look super high quality, the buttons add a perfect finishing touch, and the color is lovely. Unfortunately, they run is super small! I normally wear a 10.5 although I was already planning to size up to get the bigger toe box so I ordered the 11. My toes hit the front of the boot before even bearing any weight. Immediately back in the box and back to Zappos. I would order a 12 if they had one, but unfortunately it maxes out at 11. The soul of the boot is excellent quality, as you'd expect from the brand. It had great grip, a thick sole, an excellent support all around. I'm really sad that I can't keep these in a size that would work for me. So thankful that Zappos allows me to try and doesn't require that I pay for return shipping. The reason I am looking for a shoe with a wide toe box is to accommodate a foot nerve condition that I have. It has been incredibly helpful to be able to try stuff out from Zappos without the risk of losing money on returns.

I love these boots! They do run a bit small, I ordered up a 1/2 size. The calf size seems to be generous. I have larger calves and these suit me well. I have no complaints!

These are so cute and comfortable. The other reviewers were correct, you need to order a 1/2 size bigger. I normally wear a 9 and I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfect. They are wide enough in the calf as well and I usually struggle to find boots that fit my calf because they are muscular.

These boots are so comfy that I could almost wear them with my toes touching the tips! I'll return for a half size larger and hope that will do the trick. Very cut and casual.

I went with my gut and ordered my normal size. They were a little tight at first, but after wearing for awhile they fit like they should. No blisters or wearing in time. Just needed a tiny stretch.

Based on previous reviews (and previous experience with BORN), I ordered a size bigger than I normally wear, and the fit is perfect. A beautiful, comfortable boot - great with dresses, skirts and jeans.
