The fit and look of this jean reminds of why I buy Ralp Lauren! It has an exceptional fit and look hugging the right areas without being too tight and without the bagginess found in many alternative brand relaxed fit jeans. The "stretch technology" is amazing. Completely hidden but allowing for the gain of a few extra pounds at the holidays AND still the great look and total comfort. This color is very versatile for casual or more dressy for dinner out. I am very particular for jeans desiring a perfect fit for look and comfort! These out perform the highest standards! I rate 10 stars on a 5 scale or AAA+! Lastly, of all the retailers in the industry, RL makes for the easiest online buying experience! Any returns do NOT need pre-certifications, nor are there any re-stocking fees and postage is pre-paid. Everything you need for an unlikely return is included in the box. Also, I liked that my clothes were shipped to me in a box as opposed to a bag as more protected. Ralph Lauren provides the highest quality you would expect and an exceptional buying experience! I bought these a few weeks ago and they have become my favorite jeans. I definitely get attention while I'm wearing them since they emphasize certain features. These jeans are true to size. There is no give in the material, so don't order them in hopes that they will stretch even a small bit. The color is very rich and they do need to be washed alone prior to wearing. They look great with sneakers or with fancy shoes.

I generally don't wear straight fit jeans so I was a little concerned that they would not be flexible enough to be comfortable. However, after trying the pair on and wearing for a couple of days, I can say that they do seem to fit well and have enough give in them to make for a comfortable day of wear. Although these are jeans, the color is dark enough and the style refined enough that they would do well for more than casual occasions. I have only washed them one time so I cannot speak to the long-term durability, but this pair seemed to do well after that one washing. The color and fit remained true after being put through a wash and dry cycle.

Great jean; just right for athletic guys w/ average muscular legs; no skinny jeans here with a bunch of spandex; just a small amount for a bit of stretch, but mostly high quality, thick cotton denim; RL doesn't skimp.

Quality non-stretch denim. I am a creature of habit so I will be ordering another 3 pair. They do run a fraction small. However, like other quality denim they began to fit as designed after wearing them 2 or 3 times. These are a mid to low rise jean. If i were to change anything, it would be that I wish they were about another .5" rise and an additional .5" leg opening. But again, after a couple times wearing them they fit great. I would recommend not washing them after the first time wearing them. Then wash and air dry the next 2 times. After that wash and dry on low heat and you are set.
