These shoes are incredible. I suffer from knee pain and have been looking for a long time for some very comfortable shoes and I have found them. With excellent arch support and a snug fit, I feel great walking in these, and my knees are a lot happier too. These shoes are also very stylish which is a plus. The sizing is perfect. They are slim fitting in terms of width but I appreciate it because they have broken in very well and fit perfectly like a sock.

Very comfortable and lightweight. Time will tell how well they hold up.

One of the most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever owned. I didn't even have to break this in. From the first moment I wore them they were comfy. I love that you can slip them on and off without have to tie them. I've had a lot of issues with shoes wearing blisters on the top of my feet or heel and that was NOT the case with these. And the color selection from Nike is awesome. I ended up getting this in 4 colors. Awesome shoe. The closest thing I've found to them is the Keen Uneek Exo, but it only comes in 4 colors and is more expensive.

I ordered 3 pairs of Nike shoes for my son. He kept the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 and the Nike Renewal Rival. We returned the Air Zoom Winflo 5 as they were not as comfortable. He really liked both the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 and the Nike Renewal Rival. Both were comfortable from the first time he tried them on and walked around the house. Thanks, Zappos, for continued great customer service & giving us options on shoes & other products.

Shoe was a about a 1/2 size smaller, not as cushioned as I would have liked and compared to more pricey Nike's that I've ran in, in the past. Not a bad shoe for the money....don't expect a $100 fit for this price.

Absolutely in love with the look of these shoes, look just as good when you’re wearing them as they do when they’re sitting to the side. Received several compliments after only wearing out once.

My 12 year old son chose these shoes just by looks alone. Once received and he tried them on, he couldn’t believe how comfortable they are. He says the cushioning and arch support feel like pillows under his feet. It’s pretty safe to say he’s extremely happy with the Nike Renew Rival. As a Mom, my opinion is they seem a bit high priced for such a minimal looking shoe. I’m hoping the durability holds up to my son’s very active lifestyle before he grows out of them. If so, then they’re worth every penny.

The shoe was difficult to put on as the hole for your foot is smaller with the shoe tongue not separated. the arch suport is very good.

This is an excellent shoe. My husband loves them. The only problem is the bottom of the shoe picks up gravel like a magnet and is not good for hardwood floors. If we could get this shoe with a different sole that would be perfect.

I wear orthotics with my shoes, and had to buy a half-size larger than usual with this style, in part because of the sock-like structure of the shoe rather than the traditional tongue arrangement. These shoes squeaked very loudly on a hard surface when I used my regular orthotics. I went out and bought the AIRR ORTHOTIC SofSole, which eliminated the noise. They don't provide as much support as my custom orthotics, but it's a better overall solution. There's something in the structure of the shoes that caused the unwanted noise. I use these as walk-around-town shoes and continue to run in Asics Kayanos or Nimbus. They work well for that purpose, though the hole-filled sole makes me suspect that the Rivals won't last as long as other shoes of their kind. We shall see. I like the styling, though their blue color is much brighter than the blue Adidas Bounce shoes that these replaced. I previously tried Nike Tanjuns for walking around - they are comfortable, but don't have as much support as the Rivals.
