I ordered a 1/2 size larger but these shoes were so stiff I could barely open them enough to put my foot inside. I don't see how these would ever soften up enough to be remotely comfortable. Back they go.

This Beautifully crafted shoe fits true to foot size, they're comfortable and of course this type of shoe is somewhat stiff because of the tailoring of the leather and craftsmanship. This is my second pair of Burwoods by Church's I own the white & cherry and this style in the color smog with studs. I will continue to receive many compliments and I am happy to own these shoes. What I like about these shoes is you won't see yourself on other's feet coming and going. If you've gotten the Church's experience you will keep coming back. Love these shoes... beautiful, just fabulous. Love looking down at my feet! They are substantial shoes and are are stiff, but thats just what they are... beautiful traditional leather loafer, with a punk edge to them. Best purchase this year.
