This is a tricky shoe style to get right and this missed the mark in a critical way. There is not enough of the actual mule to hold the shoe on your foot. I found the size and width true, but this mule only covers to about the beginning of the arch and when you walk the shoe does not stay on. There is nothing that is going to fix that issue, other than re-doing the style to make it cover the whole foot. The quality and style are really nice, but they were unwearable for me.

These were true to size for me, I ordered my usual 7.5 M and they fit very well. My foot tends to be on the more narrow side of the “Medium” range and the width on these in the toe box is prefect. So someone who oscillates between Medium and Wide shoe widths, may need to consider with the wider option for a more comfortable fit. I love the style and they stay on my feet with no problems, but they are a mule so, yes, the shoe does have the feel of a slip-on when I’m walking. But again, I’ve had no trouble keeping them on my feet. There was a bit of gaping on the sides where the leather begins to taper down. If my foot were a bit wider perhaps this wouldn’t be as noticeable. But I don’t expect a $119 pair of shoes to fit like a $700 pair of shoes, and since the shoes are otherwise very comfortable and I love the look, I’m happy to overlook this small detail. Overall, I love these shoes. The style is adorable and the white color will team well with so many outfits for spring and summer. I find Sam Edelman to be consistent with regard to both comfort and fit. Very pleased with these cute mules.

These are super cute but were a little too flippy floppy when I walked. Also the leather bent at the buckle which I knew was going to leave an ugly crease over time. Returning for a loafer mule that covers more of my foot.

I got this in black as a quality dupe for Gucci's Princetown. The shoe is elegant and sturdy while feeling lightweight. There is a small ridge inside meant for your toes to grasp. I plan to wear it to work and casual.

Liked this shoe but runs big. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the make and style. I ordered both and both are too big. Guess I need a 7.5...???

These are really cute and feel broken in the second you slip them on. The leather is super soft and they are really comfortable. As many other reviewers have noted, these run a half size large. I am a true 9 in all shoes, including this brand. But this time I had to return the 9 for an 8.5. They fit perfectly. I’m so thankful for Zappos’ great customer service and super easy, no fuss returns. The smaller size arrived in a day and I’m happy with purchase.

I can no longer recommend these. I purchased my 1st pair of these gorgeous shoes around 2019. I LOVED them and wore them often, but the left one started to squeak when I walked. I wrote about it in a review and Zappo’s amazing CS contacted me and offered to replace them. I loved the shoes so much, I decided to accept. The new pair sat unused in their box for over a year because 2020 happened. I took them out two months ago to wear to a new job and noticed yesterday that this pair are already pulling apart at the top seams and the area where my pinky toes touch the sides are literally worn away. After only 2 months?! I don’t even wear them everyday! I’m SO disappointed.

I have wide feet and usually wear size 8 from Sam Edeman and It’s true to size, classy, and can walk all day wearing it.

I originally ordered a 9 because I am always a true size 9. Felt long so I ordered a 1/2 size down. Still too long. So now I am going to try an 8!

I purchased these in white and love them. This is actually my second pair. I have them in the taupe. This is such an easy style to wear and is great for transitional weather. I love to wear these with skinny jeans and sweaters.

Well made, very comfortable, don’t need to break them in at all.

I absolutely love these! I feel guilty because everyone thinks these are the Gucci Princeton. Super comfy and stylish! I usually wear a 9 M and that is what I ordered! Perfect fit!

I purchased these after seeing them on one of my favorite YouTubers. She was a wearing a similar pair and talked about the wearabilty. I have this shoe in a neutral tan and thought I would give the white a try. I love them! They do add some freshness to an outfit and feel great. I think this is great seasonal transition shoe and looks classic. This is a very comfortable mule. I love Sam Edelman and Zappos.com is great with fast shipping and great customer service.

These are gorgeous shoes. I bought them cause they were sold out of the color I actually wanted. Unfortunately, the color did not look right on me and tended to make my size 9 foot look a lot longer. Very comfortable and sad not available in the original color I wanted.

Very cute. But the toe box is so narrow, I could not get my foot in all the way and would need to size up. Very disappointed

Wanted to like this shoe, but they just do not fit well. Gap at the sides.

I loved this shoe but could not keep it on my foot! Size was fine but much too wide......Had to return.

Love the shoes. Love Sam Edelman shoes. I did have to go down a half size though. I’m always a 7.5 in Sam Edelman shoes but had to exchange for a 7. Maybe it’s the mule style. There was too much shoe showing in the heel. Either way, I love them!!
