I’m updating my previous review a little more now that my toddler is awake and I’ve been able to try them on him and he’s run around in them. They do run a full size SMALLER than the SunSan, I put larger not paying attention ? For instance, our SunSan Sea Wees are size 4, the size 5 Footmates fit him PERFECTLY! They also fit him BETTER than the Sea Wees. You can see in the one photo, the straps on the tan sandal is cutting into the top of his foot whereas the green one is not. I have a size 6 Footmates I am keeping for the summer as I expect before long the size 5 won’t fit him. If your toddler has pudgy feet like mine and you are between whether or not to go with Footmates or SunSan; take my advice and go with Footmates 100%!! They come in more colors than the SunSans anyway!

This sandals were great until they completely fell apart. My son wore these since June and after 2 months of wear these sandals came apart. The sole of the sandals is ripping off the leather. It’s a shame too bc my son loves these sandals. The sole of the shoe isn’t even worn off a tiny bit but the sandal is no longer functional and is being thrown away.

Love that these are Velcro with a buckle look! They are so cute in person! I would size up, they run smaller than other Footmates styles.

These were great for my toddler and lasted him all summer long! I only wish they were a little wider or that the bottom strap was more adjustable. Also wish the top strap was not Velcro but they worked for this summer!

So I haven’t had the chance to try these on my toddler yet, hence the one star on comfort because he is still napping and I don’t know how they’ll feel on him. However we have a pair of SunSan Sea Wee sandals in size 4. I bought both size 5 & 6 in Footmates because I was unable to find out if their sizes run the same as SunSan or not. They definitely run a full size smaller than SunSan! My toddler’s feet are tall, not so much wide but puffy like muffin tops :D He seems to trip often in his SunSans so I’m interested to see how these Footmates fit him. In my photos, the green sandal is the Footmates and the navy is the SunSan.

Beautiful child's sandal; however, for my granddaughter who has wide, flat feet, they just were not wide enough. We couldn't get either of the straps buckled and I was so sad! The light blue color was so lovely. We ordered these in a little kids 1 and 2 and the 1 was the right length but the 2 was way too long. So disappointed.

Absolutely horrible quality. Initially I was pretty impressed with the fit and style. My daughter wore them a couple of times to church and they were comfortable. To my shock, when I picked my daughter up from children's church last Sunday she was carrying one of her sandals. The heel strap completely broke off. She's not rough on things and has NEVER broken a pair of shoes before. Disappointing for such expensive sandals.

Love how it looks on my daughter’s feet. Literally goes with any outfit and it’s very comfortable.

These have been our go to sandals since my daughter could walk. We live in Florida and so she wears them about every day. They show very little wear from pair to pair. Mom's are always complimenting her on them. Super cute!

Love these sandals for my little boy. I was surprised at how well made and dressy they are.

Run a little small IMO, but being able to adjust the buckles helps. Cute sandals!

Love these, they’re adorable and so tiny for my baby’s feet! I just need to get the size 5 instead since the 4 as the smaller size won’t last long on a growing baby!

Perfect shoes to wear with everything in the summer! Love that they can be worn in the water, pool deck, beach, etc!!

My granddaughter will be wearing these sandals in a wedding this month. The shoes are a great, classic style and fit beautifully. The color is a lovely light blue and matches her dress perfectly. She will love wearing them!

TTS. These sandals go with everything and are easy for my child to put on. Five stars for sure!

Cute little Kelly Green leather sandals for my 18 month old Grandaughter!!! Adorable!!!

So cute! The toe strap is an adjustable buckle so you can make them roomier to fit chubby little toes. The ankle strap is actually Velcro so very easy shoes to use. I’m not sure how the material will do against the skin with a day of active summer time play but we will see! Very cute in red!

These sandals are the best! We love the look of the buckle strap, but love even more that they are actually Velcro and my little ones can slide and Velcro these on themselves. They are comfortable and stylish too!

True to size, easy to put on and adjust with velcro strap. My daughter has wide feet and these work well. They work with every kind of style, both for boys and girls.

Loved these for my daughter - the pop of green was a fun way to incorporate a color she doesn't wear very often. These are the best sandals for preschool age kids!
