I have an older version of this bag. I travel ALL THE TIME, every week, often for a week or more, and this is my go-to bag b/c:
1. It's insanely light.
2. It actually carries as much stuff as my carry-on roller, but without the weight, and b/c it's crushable, I can usually still fit it in the overhead when the overhead is full of stuff. Letting me get on the plane LAST...
3. It packs down to nothing when I'm not using it. I keep it in my nightstand next to my bed, it's that small.
Okay that being said, EC - I hope you're listening b/c if you did this, no other duffel on earth would have these features. Here's what I would change/improve:
1. Make the material lightly water resistant, but don't sacrifice too much weight and don't change the crushability of the fabric! I've accomplished this on my own using tech wash for waterproofing, but you could do so much better than I can with my hack.
2. Make the dimensions the full dimensions of a carry-on, letting me still carry it on if it's all the way full. It would be the lightest, largest capacity bag out there if you did that.
3. PUT REMOVABLE BACKPACK STRAPS ON IT! No one else has an insanely lightweight, packable duffel with backpack straps. There are a lot of duffels that do have backpack straps, but they're all burly and heavy (like you have one that's 2+ lbs!). Yes this increases weight, but keep the straps light and fast and it won't add too much.
4. Make the handles velcro together for the haul handles.
Other than that, love the bag. Don't add pockets. Don't add more lashing straps or a burly bottom or a hefty zipper or anything else. There are tons of those bags already out there. I'll be buying another one when the one I have dies.

I recently purchased these packable duffels for our recent trip. I find these duffels very useful for clothes, towels, etc.. When filled, the duffels are stackable and don't take up too much space in your vehicle's trunk.
I love it so much I bought 2 more!

I have owned this bag for 2 months now and am very pleased. It is extremely light and packs down to almost nothing, it is easy to throw in my larger bags for extra "loose storage" while on a trip. I will be buying several more of these bags to use for storage and clothing organization at home. Minimalist design with light weight makes it a great extra bag or backup bag for a primary pack on a trip.

I used this bag for a three day trip. It was great at the airport and on the plane. So much easier to lug around than a suitcase and fit easily under my seat. Lugged it easily up and down the stairs during s 24 hr flight delay.

When I saw the brand---Eagle Creek means quality---and the price, I couldn't resist. AND the bag is extremely lightweight and practical with the cross-body or hand-hold strap. My only complaint: though the photo is gray, the description says 'black," which I chose---but the inside is so dark it's harder to find things than if it were a print or contrasting color. Still, for under $40 AND Eagle Creek AND lightweight AND strap options---I'm happy. If you're looking for a very basic, packable bag, you've found it.

I love the bag as it is very versatile, lightweight and has good storage.
This is my third bag. The only problem is the zipper has broken on two of the three bags. The bags are in perfect condition but I can not use them as the zipper is broken. Can the zipper be fixed?

It's not as big as I thought it might be. I use it for my swimming gear and it could use a couple more pockets for stuff. Do like the light weight though.
