This has been a great bag. We actually have two and they have both been across the USA 4-5 times by plane (plus a handful of smaller trips) and still holding strong! Things to know: They don't stand upright and they aren't designed too. The fabric is durable but if you have equipment with sharp or pointy edges, you may not have our level of success. Common sense here folks. Sharp objects cut damage fabric when being tossed around by airport personnel. It will probably look a little worn (scuffs and such) too because of the conveyer belts. Get the black if that's concerning They pack up into the bag they come in for storage which is really awesome. Our two bags packed away takes up the same or less space than carry on luggage.

MUCH larger than I expected, seems really durable, and can be used 3 ways. Awesome for travel through asia, which is what I'm using it for. Can easily be wheeled through a nice hotel in Tokyo, but also trecked through a trail in Vietnam. Worth every penny.

The only bag which combine checked luggage size, wheels, shoulder straps, lightweight, durability and security. Very satisfied with this bag, exactly what I was looking for!

The only improvement i would suggest is that the shoulder straps should either be fully detachable or it should be able to zip them completely into the bag.

But it lacks: lockable zippers on the two end pockets! (this is a no brainer) compression straps

On the 90l cargo duffel Pros. Very light. Very Rooney. Side compartments Are terrific. Cons Because it's so light there's no structure. When you pic it up everything goes to one side.

My wife and I are both on a three month honeymoon with this bag and we have both had the same problem: the shoulder straps give out at the worst times. Basically the catch on the strap mechanism can't handle the weight of the (90L) bag and pulls through and out of the plastic eyelet (unsure of the term). The design is fundamentally flawed. We love all of the other features, but we are often dealing with this issue... which is VERY FRUSTRATING!

I've taken this on four long distance trips: Nepal, Madagascar, Costa Rica and BVI. It now has 3 holes on the lower half. It won't stand up unless you're holding it, and it randomly twists over on its wheels when you are pulling it straight ahead because the contents shift all over the place during movement. If walking longer distances, you need arm strength to hold it up high enough so it doesn't bang against your legs. I gave it two stars for it's light weight (under 3 lbs), easy zippers and lockability, and cargo space (I can fit a TON of stuff in it). Only buy it if you can get it for a super bargain. Totally not worth full price.

I have two of the 90L duffles. First impression was good so I bought the second one before I realized how many flaws these bags have. First, the end compartment zippers are one-way, super light weight and have no business being on a travel pack. On my last trip, the bag came out of the baggage claim with the one of the zippers split open and half the contents were gone. I lost contents worth as much as the duffles. I'd recommend not putting anything in the end compartments if you plan on checking this bag. The main compartment zipper is much better. Second, the backpack function is sub-marginal. Even if the straps were functioning properly (more on this later) the pack is not going to be suitable for any distance. The 90L sits too low, it's floppy and uncomfortable. It's basically meant to get you from the airport to your next mode of transit. It's OK if you want to free up your hands for a moment and board the train, but I wouldn't recommend this bg if you plan on being mobile enough to not be completely reliant on cars, buses or trains. Third, the fasteners on the shoulder straps won't hold the weight of a full or even half full pack. The straps must be doubled back through the fasteners or they slide out and the strap comes apart 100% of the time. Once the strap is doubled back through the fastener it's no longer adjustable, leaving the backpack feature only partially useful. It's a fussy process and not completely reliable. There are times when this still fails and the straps have come apart - usually at inopportune times just when you want to shoulder the bag and get moving. Bottom line is I would not recommend this bag if you want a durable travel pack or if you plan on walking any distance with it on your back. For the cost, it seemed like a pretty good valve when I purchased them. After putting them to use I will say there are much better options for a few dollars more.

Roomy and durable shell paired with the lightweight materials. However, I give this 2-stars because of the shoulder straps. While the lower quick release snaps are convenient, the upper portion slides out and has loosened beyond the clip and almost fallen off my back. To remedy this required duct tape. The 90L and 120L packs are great but need improvement to remedy this along with possibly adding a cross-chest strap. I'd be hesitant to recommend these packs, but because I'm beyond the return window I'll hold on to them. If I could give a 2.5 or 2.78 rating, that would be the more accurate rating.

There aren't too many bags that can also function as a backpack, but this one appeared to be OK for what I was looking for given the limited options available. The good- bag is very lightweight, but to get it light the material does not seem to be very strong. The bad- the 90L is misleadingly small as it appears on the site so ended up returning and getting the larger version. Important point- Eagle creek does not help with shipping costs going or returning so all in the shipping costs were about $65, returning alone was $49 (I live near Chicago). This bag does come with a full life warranty, but I'll bet Eagle Creek will make you pay the crazy high shipping costs when returning to fix any issues.

Pulling the bag was torturous. Because there is no expandable handle, the bag fell against my legs constantly and almost tripped me many times. Will probably never use the bag again.

This looked like just what I needed - lightweight, durable duffle with the extra help of wheels when needed - great for trips where you need to navigate city public transport and remote terrain. Sadly after two short haul commercial flights and a trip across London it has already got two holes in it - the fabric is just not robust enough. Really disappointing as I loved this bag when I got it and thought it would last me for a while.

I am on a three month trip and this bag has already ripped and I am just hoping to make to Beijing to replace it. The padd on the shoulder straps are very thin and they keep slipping so the bag sags off my shoulders. This is junk
