I loved everything about this shoe except my heel kept slipping out of the back. The leather is very supple and there is a lot of cushion. I’m going to try a half-size smaller to see if that takes care of the problem.

I've worn Frye's for years and love every pair of sandals, boots and sneakers. I loved these the minute I saw them but was disappointed that they were much wider than most of their sneakers. I wear a size 8 and currently have over 20 pairs of Frye shoes. It's a go to brand that always fit. However, I must sadly return these. The leather is very soft and were very cushy. True Frye leather and design but sizing seems off.

The advice to go a half-size smaller is correct. These shoes are cushy and comfortable, but if you get your regular size, you hells will slip out. 1 half-size smaller is the way to go. You will love these shoes! Beautiful leather, beautifully made and SO comfortable. You’ll never know you had shoes on. You could walk a mile in these beauties and your feet would never know it. Go for it! They’re worth every cent.

Beautiful slip on. Classier than a regular sneaker, comfy too. I ordered 6.5 and too tight. I know they will stretch being leather but my toe was pushing into the tip of the shoe. Ordering 7 and I'm sure they will be delicious!

These are wonderful shoes! They have the casual look of an huarache with a sport sole. I almost kept my usual 7.5 but decided to try a 7. The seven is perfect and I’m sure the leather will mold beautifully with wear.

I bought a size 8, half a size smaller than my usual based on the reviews mentioning this shoe ran big. I regretted it at first because they felt a bit short and tight but after wearing just a few times they’ve adjusted perfectly. I found the insole to be thick and hot ( I live in a year-round hot climate) so replaced them with some cushioned leather insoles and they’re more comfortable now in that regard. Although tight at first they were still very comfortable and are definitely ready to wear out of the box. The heel is a bit loose as others have mentioned but the shoe doesn’t slip off my heel and it isn’t bothersome. As with all Frye footwear, the quality is superb. I really like these shoes and am glad I purchased.

These run big over all! But they are comfortable and cute so returned size 8 for 7.5 and that worked for me. Not much in the way of arch support but room for a slip in one of my own.

Loved the look of this sho, but it did not work for me. I am a wide 6.5 and I ordered a my usual 7. Width was good for me, the heel was slipping badly when I walked.

I love the look of these shoes so I ordered two sizes in white, hoping one would be perfect. In most shoes I can wear either an 8.5 M or a 9.0 N. Neither the 8.5 nor the 9.0 fit me in this shoe. The left shoe felt too short in the toe in both sizes yet both sizes flopped off my heels. If only more manufacturers would make shoes in narrow sizes. This purchase was a disappointment for me but the shoe would be great for someone else. The leather is very soft, the shoe seems well made and there is plenty of cushion.

I ordered these in 6.5 - too small. Ordered them again in size 7 - felt one sizes too big?? What a disappointment.

These are beautiful! But sadly wrong shape for my feet. Lovely soft matte leather upper, bone off-white. Lots of cushioning with leather insole. Love the look and feel, but too narrow in the toe box because of the rubber sides, and my heel slipped out of the back :(

Fit definitely runs big. I normally wear a 7 1/2 (Frye boots I wear a 7 with socks or tights), so I ordered a 7. Both heels kept slipping out, so I'm exchanging for a 6 1/2. The style is great and I love the cushiness of the soles.

Very nice looking and comfortable, but I am returning to get a smaller size. I hope that works because they could be a very versatile shoe.

These are really cute and the footbed is comfortable but the sizing was weird, I ordered my normal size and the back flipped off of my heel, then I ordered a half size down and they were too small. Since I couldn't find a size that fit right I sent them all back :(

These were very cute, but they flipped off of the back of my heel. If I had sized down, they would have been too short for my foot, so ultimately I sent them back. The footbed was comfortable, and the shoe fit nicely when I was standing still, but the flipping of the heel was something I couldn't live with for the price.

Very cushy inside but too much shoe for my foot. Also felt a little short in the heel.

The shoe slipped off my heel but I could feel the top of my toe touching so the sizing was off for my foot. High arches. True size 8. The leather didn't feel as soft to me as other reviewers said. I struggle with closed shoes though! I am a sandal and flip flop girl!

Wider than the average Frye but not quite wide enough in the toe for my wide feet and yet way way too wide in the heel. Nice quality shoe but fit will be tough for some.

These look great & comfy, but unfortunately the size 5.5 felt like a size 6. So bummed to return :(

I really really wanted theses shoes to work as they were wide enough for my problem feet. I ordered them in an 8 at first but the left was too short and the right was perfect. I am a true 8. I ordered an 81/2. the left was perfect and the right too big. The heels were so big I couldn't keep them on. I bought heel grips to try but they could not keep them on my feet- but without being able to actually stick them on it was hard to tell. Thick socks could not keep them on my feet. I would only recommend these shoes for people who have thicker ankles. Am so disappointed as these would have been the perfect shoes!!!
