The description says “Lightweight cushioning throughout” but there is no cushioning at all in the pair I received, which is the Garden Crew Light Socks”. I gave them a 5 star rating because, even though I didn’t try them on (I could see they had no cushioning), I have many pairs of Darn Tough socks and they appear to be the same great quality. The design is so cute, I wanted to keep them but I really need light cushioning for my hiking shoes. I really wish Darn Tough would be more specific in their descriptions.

Darn Tough socks are the best. The only brand of wool socks I buy. These are thinner so that you can wear them with regular shoes and boots. They keep my feet warm and fit great.

Darn Tough socks are THE BEST! They're soft and they fit well; just a bit snug which means they don't shift around or rub, something which is more important in hiking socks but is also appreciated in everyday socks. I love the pretty colors and prints. This particular style is so cute I bought it in two different colors. These socks are expensive but they're also very high quality, they'll last forever. Well worth a splurge!

I have three pairs of these light weight wool blend socks. The pattern is cute and the material is warm enough for Fall, Winter, and Spring wear. Cozy and not at all “itchy”. If one has wide or swollen ankles, then socks may feel snug, requiring a size up. I have average proportion ankles, wear a size 6 1/2 shoe and size small sock fits great.

Love these socks. Not too thick and not too short.

They run small and the elastic is too tight, but the patterns and colors are truly beautiful. I wear an 8.5 and according to the size chart I ordered a Medium. I don't think a size larger would help with the tight elastic.

Cute design , great turquoise colour! Wool, yes!! But wool is coarse & the band at top is very tight. I kept an exact same pattern & knit but in a different colour. Wool is a bit softer. Band at top is also very tight. I prefer a roll top & no band or ridges. Wool & cashmere generally, always, winners!

Fit and size are perfect. I wasn't sure that I could tolerate the material, because I usually cannot handle any sort of wool, even the softest ones. The top ribbing seemed to bother me a bit at first but I was able to hike for several hours without a problem. I had rewards to use so the price was better than I could find anywhere else.

Darn Tough socks are great. I love that they offer them in sizes as most other brands, one size fits all, are too big for me. Quality is exceptional and I like that they offer socks with nice designs.

Wore these on the Camino de Santiago for over 500 miles! They were comfortable, easy to wash/dry by hand, & held up well! Darn Tough replaced them too! Will buy many more!

Colors are great but these socks are a lot thinner than the garden crews Ive purchased before.

Years ago I was told of Darn Tough from a friend who hiked PCT. I thought "yeah right lifetime guarantee"! Well they do stand behind the product!!!! Best sock I have ever owned. Comfortable and wear great. Highly Recommend

During winter I moved from a warm place, where my feet were always too hot and I wore the thinnest socks I could find, to a cold place. I am 50 and have cold feet for the first time in my life. I bought a bunch of pairs of their cushion midweight micro crew socks and these socks are LOVELY. They're whimsical and have nice colors, but, more to the point, they are nice and warm. My feet stay warm and dry. Also, they don't itch at all. They're super high quality, too. I could wish they were less expensive, but then they'd also be cheaper. There are frequent sales and if you are an REI member, you can buy them with the dividends you get every year. Worth it!

What more can I say: LOVE Darn Tough socks and these are no exception. Super nice colors/pattern. Perfect weight for work shoes (though I alsoi wear them to hike, jog, etc)

These socks look great! I love the pattern. Together with the quality they make an exceptional pair of socks. Iove these socks. They are warm and very comfortable to wear around the house as well as outside. They also donor pick up smells!

I celebrated my birthday yesterday and saved my new socks as a birthday present. But today I have them on and I love them! They are comfy and warm but also wick moisture away from my feet. I bought these to replace an old pair and the update of the top of the crew not being so tight is a game-changer for me. The other pair has lasted at least ten years, but that tight band was difficult at times. These new socks took care of that problem, and I look forward to wearing these for at least another ten years. I live in southern Arizona and our summers can get toasty (100+ degrees F), but these socks work year round.

I love the fun patterns and colors offered in the lifestyle socks. My only complaint is the lack of cushioning add cushioning and theyll be perfect!
