I have what I call "troubled feet". I wear a wide width in all brands and even with that the shoes would not fit properly. I never tried Birkenstock because they did not come in a wide width until someone said they have a gracious toe box. So I tried their regular width and was shocked and very pleased! The shoe fit, the heel did not flop around, the arch support was good and I wore them all day with no problems! So now I own birkes in 5 styles!

The shape is great for my Greek-toed foot, and the shoes are really well constructed, but the platform is just too hard for long standing or a good walk. I had to return them.

These are just what I was looking for! Comfortable foot bed and contemporary style. I like the color which is darker than pictured but more true to the description of 'navy'.

I've loved my Birk sandles over 40 years, before they were cool. When I saw these cute tennis shoes, I had to try them. I can wear them for day after day on cement floor at work, and my plantar fasciitis doesn't flare up! Will definitely buy more when olive green and khaki are available.

These are the shoes I have been looking for. I LOVE cork footbeds as they mold so nicely to your feet and last forever. These shoes have a wide toe box which i need for my problem feet, they do not slip on my heel at all, and just fit so nicely. I do recommend walking around in the house for a while to break in the cork footbed. I hope Birk keeps expanding their shoe selection!

So cute! I purchased these shoes in navy. This is not a brand of shoe I would have normally sought out. I looked for this brand as it was on the list given to me by my foot Dr. I was so surprised to see how cute these were. The shoe sizes are listed in European measurements, I bought a 37, which indicates it is a size 6 - 6 1/2. I wear a size 6 shoe. Upon arrival I opened the box and found them to be as cute as they were in the advertised photo! I put them on right away. These shoes are HUGE! My toes fall just at the beginning of the laces. Sadly they must go back. I have already reordered them, in grey, European size 36. The 36 indicates it is a 5 - 5 1/5. I am hoping smaller size shoe also runs so big that maybe the 5 will fit! I listed the comfort score as a 3 since I am unable to submit this review leaving the comfort blank. I hope the new shoe I receive will be a 5 in comfort!

I wear a size 38 in the Birkenstock professional Birki. When I ordered the Arran in a size 38 it fit but I felt a lot of pressure on my toes. I ended up getting a size 39 and it was a much better fit.

I really like these shoes! They are Birks, so a “breaking in” period is to be expected. I have plantar fasciitis and these have helped tremendously. They look a lot like VANS to me, with a slightly wider toe area. These are my go to shoes for running errands. I prefer them over my sneakers for comfort!

I wanted to love these shoes. They are so cute! The arch support and comfort of the footbed itself is fantastic. However, the canvas upper is very stiff. The tongue on one of the shoes just dug into my ankle, and because the fabric is so thick and stiff, there was really nothing I could do about it. I didn't feel like it was something I would get used to or that it was something that would go away with breaking in the shoes. These are well made and again, the footbed is great, but just know that the fabric is not soft and flexible like other canvas sneakers of this type.

What do you mean how do they fit? LOL Birkenstocks are 100% for me every time! These canvas Arran's are so cute to boot. I am used to Birkenstock fit so they were perfect right out of the box for me. I wear a 7 in other brands but 37 is perfect in all of my Birkenstocks, even these closed toe shoes. :) The grey has almost an olive tint, I like! A good neutral.

I have plantar fasciitis and most shoes don't give me the support I need. This shoe provides me support which allows me to walk or stand for long periods of time. Initially, the back part of the shoe would rub against my achilles heel...which was uncomfortable. After a couple of days..the leather part of the shoe "broke-in" and it doesn't cause any friction. I really like that it looks stylist and youthful.

I have plantar faciitis and these shoes provide very good arch support and have a comfortable natural toe box. My feet do not feel squished and I have used these for my errands (appointments, groceries, etc). I would recommend using thin, no show socks since they will fit just perfect with this style. These are a much better value for a summer tennis shoe if you consider the arch support. With my 'bad' feet, I was stuck using clunky tennis shoes --- no more, now I can wear these lightweight shoes and look super stylish.

Supportive, comfortable and my go to shoe !

Super cute and super comfortable. Almost don't want to leave a good review, so no one else discovers these. Everyone who sees these on me compliments me. I love the support and am looking forward to a long life for these shoes. I own/operate a restaurant and am on my feet for long stretches and need very functional and comfortable work shoes. These also happen to be super cute too. I pretty much only wear Birkenstocks to work in, and am thrilled to have found this sneaker-style shoe. I wear an 8 pretty much across the board, and a 39 in Birks and they fit perfect.

I usually wear a narrow in Birkenstock, so was a little reluctant to order these. They are perfect for my foot, allowing me to wear a sock with them. The heel is narrow enough for my foot, and I need a high toe bed, which they have. They required no breaking in time for my foot. I have many pairs of Birks, and these add nicely to my desire for a Bird sneaker!

What took Birkenstock so long to make sneakers!!? I have been searching for the perfect shoes for winter to help my planter fasciitia. I wear other Birkenstock Sandals inside all year so I’m used to the fit. I put these on and didn’t even have to break them in. They were SO comfy. If you are used to birk sandals you will love these. I wear a normal 38 (not narrow) and the 38 fit perfectly.

I found these on another site for a little less but bought them from Zappos because of their impeccable customer service. I followed the advice of others and bought a size smaller and I was not disappointed. If you like the way Birk's feel, you will be pleased with this style. My feet are pretty wide and these fit beautifully. I've had them on for several hours and they are not slipping off my heel or rubbing. I will be ordering them in all colors available. Zappos had these at my door in less than 24 hours- always appreciated.

I live in Birkenstocks, so when I saw these sneakers I knew I had to give them a try. I wear a 40 narrow, they were only offered in the regular width. I figured I had nothing to lose with Zappos awesome return policy. They fit great. I am so glad I kept checking back for my size. Yay!!!

Got these shoes for my wife. She loves Birkenstock sandals, and since she has a hard time finding shoes that fit wider feet, we figured we should just try their shoes. She said they are super comfy just like her Birkenstock sandals. Would definitely recommend to anyone who already likes and wears this brand.

I am a long standing Birkenstock wearer and was excited to see these cute canvas shoes. They have great arch support like I expected. What I wish they would have included is the metatarsal ridge that is found in my other "Birkie" sandals. Then, I think they would have been perfect, but I'm quite pleased with the shoe. Lots of room in the toe box for my toes and very cute!

I wear a merrell 9.5. These shoes are a perfect fit. Very comfy from the first day. The blue is super cute with denim. Will wear these alot.

The footbed was the usual excellent Birkenstock. The only issue I have is the canvas is very stiff and non-giving and I developed blisters on the back of my foot where the top of the shoe hits. Hopefully as I wear them they will become easier to walk in when wearing them for an extended amount of time.

These shoes are so cute and perfect for summer and clean easily since White gets dirty very easily. A little bit of Oxy Clean and a clean brush and the dirt is gone. The support is more aggressive than my Berkinstock sandals and I cannot walk distances in them like I can my sandals. Very cute and VERY supportive. A bit too much for me. I still wear them since the box got wet/ruined so I couldn’t return. Perfect for occasions I’m not walking or standing a lot.

Not as much arch support as clogs and sandals. Have to add a metatarsal pad under the footbed to get a comfortable fit

Really really cute. Not as supportive as the sandals and very expensive. Will have to see how they hold up.
