Early 50's NYC office-dweller. Lucky for me a more casual style is ok at work so I bought these to branch out. These shoes are very high-quality and (for me) very comfortable right out of the box. I have a somewhat narrow heel, low-volume foot and honestly these fit like a dream. If anyone is familiar with Santoni dress shoes those are also a good fit for me. Style-wise they were a bit of a departure for me. Lots of guys wear these kinds of fashion sneakers but honestly I don't care for the look of most of them. Brand new these are a bit glossy and a tiny bit flashy. But they're cool and I feel good wearing them. I think once they're a bit worn they will look even better.

Wonderful sneaker overall. Well crafted, comfortable and stylish.

The gusseted tongue makes a weird fit for the shoe. Length is able right with slightly longer than marked (not enough for a half size difference). Width wise is good, maybe slightly narrow easily adjustable with all the eyelets. My problem was that I could not get a good fit for the heel and had very bad heel slippage. Look wise, they are great and exactly as pictured. The gray is fairly dark but not black. I only tried them on but the soles felt comfortable.
