Schon zweimal damit gewandert, noch nie hab ich mich so sicher in einem Schuh gefhlt

I bought these to replace another pair of Salomon Quest boots. They are the best boots I've owned in terms of comfort. Ideal for my feet as I have a fairly narrow heel but like room at the toe box. I wore them for 3 short walks of around 4 miles to break them in, not that they really needed it, then walked the West Highland Way. 6 days walking, up to 23 miles in a day, no issues (or blisters) whatsoever.

These are my favourite shoes. They are very comfortable, light, stabile and breathable. I did TMB with these shoes and I cant imagine do this hiking trip in another shoes. I realy recommend them!

Excellent Ankle Support and they stayed dry during my 6 Day West Coast Trail Hike. The best investment for your feet. Make sure you break them in slowly before you venture out on your big hike even though they feel to comfortable as soon as you put them on.

Chaussures utilises pour un voyage d'un mois au Prou/Bolivie, 2 treks, trs rsistantes, isolantes et surtout confortables. Aprs 4 jours de marche intense seulement quelques petites irritations aux orteils qui ont vite pass. Poids correct. Seul inconvnient : les lacets glissent il faut les refaire souvent. Je recommande.

J?ai achet? ses chaussures avant de partir en randonn?e pour 15 jours. J?ai appr?ci? le confort imm?diat des chaussures, la bonne flexibilit? au niveau de la cheville associ?e ? un bon maintien. Nous n?avons pas eu de pluie donc aucun avis sur l?impermeabilit?. Top c?t? chaleur et respirabilit?. Je suis tr?s contente de mon achat.

J'ai achet ses chaussures avant de partir en randonne pour 15 jours. J'ai apprci le confort immdiat des chaussures, la bonne flexibilit au niveau de la cheville associe un bon maintien. Nous n'avons pas eu de pluie donc aucun avis sur l'impermeabilit. Top ct chaleur et respirabilit. Je suis trs contente de mon achat.

After losing my heels and toe nails to many other hiking boots, this is my go-to boot (and second pair bought!). They had no break-in period, are incredibly comfortable (I added Superfeet for extra comfort on long multi-day treks) and have kept my feet fairly dry though some of the more wet conditions, snowshoe hiking and the occasional encounter with spring streams. I do use a waterproof spray at the beginning of the spring to keep them more protected. With agility and lightness, I am confident and comfortable on slick granite and wet terrain. These are great for scrambling over boulders, flexible on climbs and protect my tender ankles from rolls, bites and scratches. With a wider toe box, there's space for ski-boot bone growths -- a huge plus for my summer feet.

Perfetti per trekking morbidissimi e leggerissimi e ottimo grip

I am currently in my 60's and have embarked on a new initiative to start backpacking again. I wanted to do so with a new pair of hiking boots. I did extensive research and determined that the Quest 4D 3 GTX boot would be suitable for me and where I planned to do most of my backpacking - the Adirondacks of northern New York State. After only a two-week break-in period of wearing them on a couple of day hikes and while doing yard work, this past weekend I put the boots to the test on a 10 mile trip into the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness. I am very happy with the results. The boots are light on the feet, but provide excellent support and footing. Combined with trekking poles, I was felt confident on the variety of surfaces I encountered on the trail. They are comfortable and the lacing system is superb. I am looking forward to logging many more miles with them.

I didn't even need to break these boots in, first hike with them was 8 hours long and my feet felt great. I use them snowshoeing as well they keep my feet very dry. They can get a little warm in the summer if I don't wear merino wool coolmax socks. I have now owned them for 6 years.

These are very comfortable and supportive, but I seem to need a new pair every year so it gets pricey. The waterproofing breaks down fairly quickly, and the toe cap peels. The treads wear down. I have worn these on many coastal (mud) and alpine multi-day trips and do like them, but am balking at buying a third pair. I'm going to try washing and re-spraying my last year's pair to see if I can get 2 years out of them. Otherwise, I may look around for something more durable.

Have used these boots for the last several years. They've held up well, except for the water-proofing. I had to apply some water proofing treatment about 1.5 years after buying them. They were out of warranty by that time, so no replacement. They're holding up well otherwise, still stable, tread is doing well going on 3 years of use. Unfortunately, have to replace them as I just got back from snowshoeing and my feet were soaked. Not something I can risk when Winter camping. Buying the exact same pair as I've never had a shoe fit my foot so well.

Pros: good grip, lightweight, comfortable. Cons: durability is not too great. Toe cap seems to loosen easily.
