Bought these in wide to wear during CrossFit WODs. I wear 4E NB runners but these were extremely narrow for me. The toe box is very narrow and really cramped my toes. Unfortunately had to return them. I really liked the construction, weight, and features but unfortunately couldn't wear them. New Balance was always my go-to but not in the trainer category I guess. Still trying to find a shoe that fits.

I have a wide forefoot. The "wide" option in my size was still rather narrow, even with the wide toe box. It came with a painfully tight lycra band that goes around the forefoot, which is built into the tongue and inner sole. I don't understand the purpose of this, and it made the shoe unusable for me. It was difficult to get it onto my foot, and I immediately needed to remove it, due to discomfort. I may have been able to use the shoe, if it wasn't for that band.

It fit smaller than expected. The in step has no arch support and is not a good shoe for a flat footed person

Sertanly good shoe. Comfortably fit great quality and very light but the outsole not stands in hard workouts (crossfit) and torn of from shoe and I bought them for less than a year, using sometimes other pair depends on different WOD.

The Minimus 20v4 (2015) fit great in 7 x 2E. The 20v7 is much narrower and doesn't fit.

i have the 20v7s with the burrito tongue and love them i thought i would buy a new pair only to be dissatisfied with the current iteration which really should be a whole new product as it is not the same shoe... for the same size shoe my toe was hitting the end of the shoe and the material fell stiff not snug or conforming like i expected from a nit.... Bring back the burrito tongue new balance

I really wanted to like these shoes. They look stylish. They seem well made. But the fit is just silly. I usually wear a 14, ordered a 15 based on other reviews... and the 15 was still too small. Similarly, I ordered a wide, but the so-called wide was still narrow and very pointed in the toe box, with no room for toe spread. I tried on the Merrell Bare Access Flex at the same time as this shoe, and the Merrell 14D was longer and wider than the NB 15 EE.

Good shoe for those looking for a flat bottomed trainer, overall pretty comfortable. The problem is the sizing, the last 3 pairs of New Balance shoes I have purchased have run extremely small. Not sure if they changed the sizing format? Order a half to full size larger.

Shoes didn't fit size was too small even with wide length selection. Need to go 3-4 sizes higher if you want to make it fit.

The size and fit are off. Maybe due to flaws in manufacturing. Very uncomfortable. Other NB shoes this size have been okay.

No support. Did not like them at all. Could feel everything on the ground.

I currently wear the MX40v1 Minimus and LOVE them. Was hoping to replace them with another pair of Minimus shoes but this shoe feels very cheap. The material used for the body of the show feels flimsy. Very disappointing. Wish I had purchased more of the MX40V1 while it was available.

Back lining furs into the top heel portion. A brief treadmill brisk walk workout led to rug burn like injuries to both legs. More padding is required for safety and comfort.

I want to run like the wind again. Next generation can you make extra wide. Like v3 or v4 wide. No burrito wrap either. Can you just reissue the old versions??? Do 1 run I'll buy 50 pairs so I never run out and ca run till I'm 90

I've had this model shoe for the last 4 or 5 generations. This one does run small, as everyone says. But that's not the point. This model twice broke on me, in only a few months of usage. The upper started to separate from the sole. New Balance replaced the first pair and declined to replace the second pair. It has the potential to be a great shoe, and I loved it while it lasted. It just doesn't last long enough.

I love New Balance and have been wearing New Balance for 20 years. This is the first pair I had to return because size 13 is about a 1/4" smaller than size 13 in every other pair of New Balance I've owned (including prior versions of this shoe). Get the Minimus 40 Trainer instead.

I've worn New Balance shoes for over 18 years for Crossfit, road running, trail running, tennis and even golf. I've always worn size 13 in New Balance and I've never had a problem until this shoe. The Minimus 20v4 was an awesome lightweight shoe and I hoarded a couple pairs of them. The 20v7 is about a 1/4" smaller than the 20v4. The 20v7 doesn't fit and I had to return it. Please put the size back to normal for the v8. Until then, if you need a great training shoe, I highly recommend the Minimus Trainer 40.
