These shoes deliver on all the promised and advertised points: it is very comfortable, it is waterproof and it has amazing grip and traction over all kinds of terrains. I have purchased these shoes in January 2021 and have been hiking with them regularly since then (roughly twice a month). They have definitely delivered an amazing experience. I have used them for hiking to mountains, regular hiking, long hiking. I have been on snowy surfaces up to knees, rocky surfaces, slippery surfaces, even icy surfaces. And these shoes had amazing traction on all of them. On top of delivering such performance, they are extremely comfortable coupled with good hiking socks. Never had blisters or pain in my foot wearing these shoes. Did I mentions that they are also waterproof? Well, yes they are. Never had any leakage. To sum it all, I have a confidence in these shoes every time I wear them for my next hiking. This means a lot and says a lot about the product quality. This is one of such products which increases your loyalty towards a brand. For me, these hiking shoes were worth every single penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anybody looking for their next hiking shoe.

I would buy a second pair of these shoes/hikers in brown if available and for a discounted price. No regrets.

These felt great right from the start. Have made walking a treat regardless of the terrain and the conditions. Live up to The North Face reputation.

I wasn't sure about this shoe. Thought it could tear easily. Bought it on a sale, and man, I love it. Fits great and the quality is awesome. Very resistant. Would recommend it for sure.

We don't let the weather stop us from being outside!

Just what I needed. I bought these for disc golf. They keep my feet dry and I get good traction on wet concrete pads and other surfaces. The tread is also holding up well. Happy consumer. I will purchase again.

I transitioned to this shoe from a Salomon. Initially it felt much more cushiony under the ball and heel areas. Excellent tread for grip. Materials and construction are very durable. The goretex is definitely waterproof, however it has a little crinkly noise to it, after a few months I dont notice it much, but the first few days I did not care for it. I wear these at work, I'm in finish carpentry, lots of unfinished flooring and saw dust. I like these shoes they do their job well.

Great pair of shoes. Did hiking over the Thanksgiving season and served me well. Great traction on wet rocky surfaces, kept my feet dry. I have wide feet, so ordered half size bigger than my usual, and so had a little more toe room.

I wear these shoes quite a bit & they're still holding up & look/feel brand new if ya keep them clean. Very durable & just quality shoes

I use this product as an everyday shoe, especially in the colder climate of Michigan in the winter. Great fit. For being waterproof my feet don't sweat more than normal. Have owned multiple pairs of the Fastback GTX and will continue to purchase them as long as they don't change the shoe too mich

I wear these boots on a daily basis, and when I go on my hikes into the mountains. I find them to give me a great amount of support and comfort.

I can't believe how stable these shoes are on wet surfaces. I bought a pair about 2 years ago and loved them. When the original pair wore out I bought two more. I noted that these shoes were no longer being made and were being "improved." This shoe has a goretex liner which really works. Feet stay dry. Also check the bottom of the replacement shoe. If it has the same bottom as these buy them. You will be more stable. FYI, I have tried these on ice trails. They do not work in that condition and are not stable on snow and ice.

Great shoe like all my NF shoes are

For everyday walking. In winter is good for any time wet or snow. It is very light an quality vibram outsole. I already ordered another hedgehog for my friend like a present.

this shoe has a stiff sole and is still flexible very comfortable ... so much so I've just ordered a 2nd pair

For work and casual wear

This is my favorite shoe. It repels water and holds up to daily wear.
