Great “barefoot” style shoe. Minimal cushioning, as expected, but a tad softer feeling than, for example, my Xero shoes. The shoe fits big - there’s about a finger width of space between by toes and the tip of the shoe - but I think it’s supposed to be that way. The toe box is also wide and roomy. The “sock” around the ankle and the heel area fit snug so that the shoe doesn’t slip or move as you walk, even though there’s so much room at the tip. The sock does make it a little more awkward to fit the shoe on. The shoes come with a thermal insole that can add a bit of cushioning if you’re not used to the barefoot style of walking. Also they’re thermal so add a bit of warmth. The shoes also come with red laces to swap out with the red/brown ones.

Great fitting shoe made of durable materials. Finally, I've found shoes with enough room for my gecko-like toes to stretch out! The Neoprene collar ensures a secure fit at the ankle. Initially, when I tried on the shoes, the leather at the forefoot began creasing in a way that was pressing uncomfortably into the top of my foot. I manually adjusted the leather to enforce a crease that would follow the contours / motions of my foot -- all good now!

if you have a high arch/instep, be aware the seam for the sock-like portion of the shoe (a nice feature if it works for you) hits right across the highest part of your foot and.....my toes were numb in 5 minutes. granted this might loosen up over time but would still put pressure on that area specifically. I didn't want to take a chance. Other foot, great!

By far, the best pair of shoes I've ever owned. The materials are very well put together. They are a little bit big in the toe box, but that's by design. The elastic ankle material keeps the foot from sliding around.

My husband owns at least 20 pairs of vivobarefoot shoes and these are his absolute favorite of them all.

I have a number Vivrobarefoot shoes as I'm a zero rise person. I'm a size 10.5 t0 11.0 US size. The size 44 EU as too small. The 45 EU - perfect.

Love vivo, comfortable “barefoot” shoes. Just disappointed that the shoe started ripping up around the ankle after 6 months.

I loved the foot part of this shoes, but it was too tight on my ankle, and there is no adjustment. I have a very wide foot with a tailor’s bunion, and these shoes were wide enough. I was disappointed they didn't work on the ankle.

Wanted to love these but they're not snazzy enough looking or comfortable enough to justify the price tag. I'm returning 'em. Fit issue: the right shoe dimples in the toe area when I step, causing friction my foot. Never had this issue with a shoe before, and it's only the one that does it...strange.
